We join you in lifting up your sister before our Heavenly Father today, asking for His favor and protection over her at work. It is a blessing that you are interceding for her, for God calls us to bear one another's burdens and to pray for one another in love.
We pray that the Lord would grant her a peaceful and productive day, that her work would be established by His hand and that she would find strength and joy as she labors. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. When we commit our work to Him, He is faithful to guide and sustain us. Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. We also ask for His peace over any anxiety about job security, remembering that our provision ultimately comes from Him. But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17.

We have heard your request and we count it a privilege to carry your sister before the throne of grace with you.
There is a word of the prophet which is very precious for such a day as this, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not only for quiet hours, but for thronging duties pressed, for the ordinary circumstances of life and labour. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. May the Lord grant to your sister today that inward peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within, that though duties press and cares surround, her heart may be stayed upon her God.
We are reminded of Job, who in all his losses and trials sinned not nor charged God foolishly, and whom the Lord upheld by divine support. The same God who sustained Job is able to sustain your sister in her place of work, to give her strength for the task, wisdom for every duty, and favour in the eyes of those over her. And we remember also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So we would imitate Job and make intercession with childlike confidence, believing that our longest sorrows have a close and that our God hears the prayers of His people.

O gracious Father, we come to You through the blood of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our perfect peace. We lift before You this dear sister. Look upon her this day in her labour. Grant her a good day at work, with hands made skilful and a heart kept calm in You. Keep her mind stayed upon Christ, that she may know Your keeping power hour by hour. In Your providence, we ask You to establish the work of her hands and to make her place of employment secure, if it be Your will, that she may provide for her needs and glorify You in all diligence and honesty. Guard her from fear, supply all her need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and cause her to know that in Jesus keeping we are safe. We ask this not for our merit, but for the sake of Your dear Son, who has vanquished all our foes and calls us to Heaven's perfect peace. Amen.
