We have received your request and we are joining together to lift you and your son before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's provision and for your son to walk closely with Him.
We understand the burden that financial pressure can bring, and we want to encourage you to cast that care upon the Lord, trusting in His faithful provision while also walking in wisdom and diligence. Scripture reminds us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and is our provider. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 We pray that you will seek Him first, above the worry about finances, trusting that as you honor Him with what you have and are faithful in stewardship, He will open the right doors for work and provision. We also remember the encouragement In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We also join you in praying for your son that his heart would be drawn close to God. This is the greatest need any of us have, far greater than financial need. We are encouraged by the promise Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:8 and You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 We pray that the Lord will stir in your son a hunger for His Word and for prayer, and we encourage you to continue to model that pursuit of God before him. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Your faithful prayers and example are powerful seeds.
We noticed your request speaks of being close to God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 To be close to God we must come through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. We pray that both you and your son know this closeness through Christ.

We have received your request and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, for we are taught to draw near unto God in prayer and to plead the precious blood of Christ.
You have asked for two things which lie very near the heart, provision for your daily needs and that your son may be close to God. Both are right and good desires, and the Lord invites us to bring such burdens to Him. He is not indifferent to our wants, and He delights in mercy. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, and without faith it is impossible to please Him. He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He hears and answers according to His wisdom and love.
Concerning your financial need, we pray that the Lord in His providence will supply what is needful for you, give you wisdom in stewardship, and keep you from anxious care. The Scriptures teach us to seek first the kingdom of God, trusting that He knows what things we have need of before we ask. May He grant you contentment with such things as you have, diligence in your calling, and a quiet confidence that your Father in heaven cares for His children. We ask not for abundance to feed pride, but for sufficiency to sustain you and to enable you to serve Him with a cheerful heart.
Concerning your son, there is no nearer place than to be in Christ, for Christ is ever near to God and those who are one with Him must be near also. Our nearness to God is not by our own goodness, but through the blood of Jesus who gave Himself for sinners, the Just for the unjust, to bring us to God. We pray that your son may be brought to see Christ lifted up, and by looking to Him may live. May he hear the voice of God calling him, and may he learn to answer, and to speak to God and hear God speak again in that sacred conversation which is kept up by prayer and by the Word. The way to find God is to come to Christ, for there is no coming to the Father except through His Son, and no meeting with God that is safe for a sinner except at the Cross.

Forgive sin readily and abundantly, for Your thoughts are not our thoughts and You delight to pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son which cleanses from all sin.
Grant to this dear one daily bread and all things needful for the body, and with it a heart to trust You and to be at peace. Acquaint this soul with Yourself, that good may come. And draw this son near unto Yourself by the precious blood. Give him faith to believe that You are, and that You are what You say You are in Your Word. Spoil him for the world and give him a taste for Yourself, that he may seek You diligently and find You in Christ. Keep him from wandering far, and if he has wandered, bring him home as a son who may still call You Father.
