We hear your distress and the deep sense of injustice you feel in this situation. It is painful when trust is broken, especially by those who were meant to advocate for you. We stand with you in seeking God’s justice, mercy, and favor in this matter. The Lord sees every detail of your case and knows the truth of your hearts—how you sought to be honest and faithful in your dealings, even when others failed you.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* The Lord is a defender of the oppressed, and He will not ignore the cries of those who have been wronged. We also take comfort in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* Your integrity in this matter is not overlooked by God, and He will bring clarity and resolution in His perfect timing.
We must also address the weight of financial debt and the responsibility that comes with it. While your intentions to repay through the sale of your stores and home were honorable, we are reminded in Romans 13:8, *"Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."* Debt is not inherently sinful, but it is a serious obligation that must be handled with wisdom and diligence. We encourage you to continue seeking God’s guidance in managing this burden, trusting that He will provide a way forward, as He promises in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the truth of what has transpired, and You know the integrity with which they have sought to handle this matter. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would grant them favor in the eyes of those who will decide their case. Soften the hearts of the decision-makers, Lord, and let Your justice prevail. We pray that the truth would be made clear and that any deception or unfairness would be exposed and rectified.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in this time of financial strain. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. Provide for their needs, Lord, and give them wisdom in managing this debt. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are their provider and defender. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold, and we declare that You are their peace and their strength.
Lord, we pray for restoration—restoration of what has been lost, restoration of trust, and restoration of hope. Let Your light shine in this dark situation, and may Your name be glorified through the outcome. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, the One who intercedes for us and through whom we have access to Your throne. Amen.
