We understand the urgency and distress you and your family are facing with these pressing financial and household challenges. The Lord sees your need, and we are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also know that trials are opportunities to trust Him more deeply, for He is our Provider, even in what feels impossible.
The condition of your home is a heavy burden, but we encourage you not to lose heart. The Lord cares about even the smallest details of your life, and He is able to make a way where there seems to be none. We are reminded of the Israelites in the wilderness, where God provided manna daily (Exodus 16:4) and water from a rock (Exodus 17:6). If He could do that, He can certainly open doors for the resources you need—whether through unexpected provision, wise solutions, or the generosity of others.
However, we must also ask: Have you sought the Lord first in this situation? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Sometimes, our focus can become consumed by the problem rather than the One who holds the solution. Have you prayed specifically, in faith, asking God for wisdom and direction? Have you sought counsel from your church or trusted believers who might offer practical help or guidance? Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."*
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach God’s throne with confidence (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true peace and provision. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Him, even our prayers lack power, for *"no one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6).
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we lift this beloved family before You, knowing that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides. Lord, their home is in disrepair, and the financial weight feels crushing. But You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your supernatural intervention—open doors no one can shut, provide the funds needed through unexpected means, and grant them wisdom to steward what You give. If there are skills or resources within their reach they haven’t considered, reveal them. If there are people You’ve placed in their lives to help, move hearts to act.
Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this trial. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Let this situation draw them closer to You, not farther. If there has been any fear, doubt, or misplaced trust in their own strength, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and declare that their hope is in You alone.
Lord, we ask that You restore their home as a place of peace and safety. Heal what is broken, both physically and spiritually. Give them patience as they wait on You, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We also pray for unity in their family—may they lean on You together and encourage one another with Your promises.
Finally, Father, if this family does not yet know You as Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them see that Jesus is the answer not only to their earthly needs but to their eternal ones. Draw them to repentance and faith in Him, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider. Amen.

Consider sharing your need with your local church body—often, believers are eager to help when they know the need exists. And remember, even in waiting, God is at work. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14). Stand firm in faith, and do not waver, for *"the one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it"* (1 Thessalonians 5:24). We will continue to pray for you.
