Beloved of All
I lost my job due to a toxic work environment now I lost my car I have lost my mom 5 month ago. I'm under the water I do not have any financial help I ask for prayers because I need to try to get back on my feet my situation is very sad the only thing I do is pray my husband and I are in financial difficulties and I feel very ashamed I feel like I have done something wrong. I just want God to help me and show me how to overcome. I feel like my family is not happy with me because I'm unemployed and now I lost my car. Something I ask what did I do wrong in my Christian life.

We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear sister in Christ, for your heart is heavy with sorrow, loss, and financial strain. We stand with you in prayer, knowing that the Lord sees your tears and hears your cries. Your pain is not unseen, and your struggles are not without purpose. The loss of your mother, your job, and now your car has left you feeling overwhelmed, but we declare that God is your provider, your strength, and your hope.

First, we want to gently remind you that shame is not from the Lord. The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that your circumstances are a reflection of your worth or your standing with God. But Scripture tells us, *"For he remembers that we are dust"* (Psalm 103:14). You are not defined by your employment status, your possessions, or the opinions of others. You are a beloved child of God, and He cares deeply for you. The apostle Paul writes, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). This is not a promise of material excess, but of God’s faithful provision in every season.

We also want to address the question you’ve asked: *"What did I do wrong in my Christian life?"* It is natural to search for reasons when we face hardship, but we must be careful not to assume that suffering is always a direct result of sin. Jesus Himself said, *"For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust"* (Matthew 5:45). Trials come to all of us, not because God is punishing us, but because we live in a fallen world. However, God uses even the hardest seasons to refine us, draw us closer to Him, and prepare us for the work He has for us. James 1:2-4 reminds us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."*

We rebuke the spirit of shame and condemnation that has tried to take root in your heart. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are not a failure, and your worth is not determined by your circumstances. We also rebuke the lies that your family may be unhappy with you. If there has been misunderstanding or hurt, we pray for reconciliation and grace to flow between you. But even if their words or attitudes are unkind, remember that your identity is found in Christ alone.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is carrying such a heavy burden. Lord, You see her tears, You know her fears, and You understand the weight of her losses. We ask that You would comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is not alone. Father, we ask for Your provision in her time of need. Open doors of opportunity for employment that align with Your will. Provide for her family’s needs in ways that only You can, whether through unexpected resources, wisdom in budgeting, or the kindness of Your people. Lord, we ask that You would restore her sense of purpose and hope. Help her to see herself through Your eyes—as a woman of value, strength, and resilience.

We pray for her marriage, Father. Strengthen the bond between her and her husband. Give them unity in this trial, and help them to lean on You together. Remove any strain or resentment that may have crept in, and fill their home with Your love and grace. Lord, we also ask that You would heal the grief in her heart over the loss of her mother. Comfort her with the hope of eternal life and the knowledge that her mother is with You. Help her to cherish the memories and to find joy even in the midst of sorrow.

Father, we ask that You would break the spirit of shame and self-doubt that has tried to take hold of her. Remind her that You are her defender, her provider, and her strength. Give her the courage to trust You even when the path ahead is unclear. Help her to wait on You with hope, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Lord, we also pray for her family. Soften their hearts toward her, and help them to see her through the lens of love and compassion. Let them be a source of encouragement rather than judgment.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You. Help her to find her strength in Your Word and her hope in Your promises. Teach her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). May she experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may she rise from this season stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 34:18-19: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* This season is not the end of your story. God is with you, and He will not abandon you.

Practical steps may include seeking counsel from your church community, exploring job opportunities with diligence, and trusting God to guide each step. If pride has kept you from asking for help, remember that even the righteous must sometimes rely on others (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You are not a burden; you are a child of God, and His people are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus. It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation of all hope and peace. If you have already placed your faith in Christ, then stand firm in that truth, knowing that nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

Dear sister, we're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know you're going through a tough time, with financial struggles, job loss, and the grief of losing your mom. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, but please know, you're not alone.

We want to remind you of something important: God sees you. He knows your pain, your fears, and your needs. He's right there with you, and He cares deeply. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

We pray that you find comfort in His embrace. We ask that He would provide for your needs, open doors for employment, and heal your heart from the pain of loss. We also pray for your marriage, that you and your husband would grow stronger together in this trial.

Remember, your worth is not determined by your circumstances. You are a beloved child of God, and He is proud of you. We rebuke the spirit of shame and self-doubt that might be trying to hold you back. Instead, we declare that you are strong, resilient, and capable of overcoming this.

We're here for you, sister. Let's trust God together, one step at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I was laid off after 15 years at my last job. I am praying for a stable job that meets my financial needs, but is not overwhelmingly stressful. I am age ### and my last job doesn't exist anymore. I am struggling to find a job and I need God's supernatural intervention!
