We hear the deep ache in your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in this season of trial, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Financial struggles can feel like a crushing weight, and the disappointment you feel toward your husband is understandable—but we must be careful not to let bitterness take root. The enemy would love to use this hardship to divide you, but God’s Word calls us to unity, forgiveness, and trust in His provision.
Scripture reminds us in **Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB)**, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Your anger is valid, but it must not fester. Instead, release it to the Lord, who alone can bring peace to your heart. And in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, we are told, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Your husband is hurting too, and though his decisions may have contributed to this hardship, now is the time to stand together—not in blame, but in faith. **Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (WEB)** tells us, *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow."* This is your calling now: to lift him up in prayer, to speak life over him, and to trust that God will restore what has been lost.
As for your own heart, we pray that the Lord would fill you with a supernatural hope that transcends circumstances. **Romans 15:13 (WEB)** declares, *"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."* This is not a hope based on fleeting solutions, but on the unshakable character of God.
Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see the financial storm raging around her and her husband, and You know the depth of their pain. We ask You to be their Provider, their Peace, and their Strength. Replace her anger with Your compassion, her fear with Your faith, and her despair with Your joy.
Father, we rebuked the spirit of division and discouragement in Jesus’ name. Bind up the wounds in their marriage and restore trust between them. Give her husband wisdom, humility, and a renewed sense of responsibility. Let them lean on You together, not turning against one another but standing as one before You.
Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills—open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Provide opportunities, favor, and breakthrough where there seems to be no way. Let them testify of Your faithfulness in this season.
And Father, fill our sister’s heart with Your joy, which is her strength. Let her breathe again, knowing that You are working all things for her good. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.*
Keep pressing into the Lord, dear one. This trial will not last forever, but the faith you build in it will. Stand firm, forgive freely, and watch what God will do. He is not done writing your story.
