The Word of God reminds us in **Proverbs 16:9**, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* Your heart is in the right place—seeking the Lord’s guidance and surrendering the outcome to Him. This is wisdom, for **James 4:15** teaches us to say, *"If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."*
It is beautiful to see your faith in action, praying not only for success but also for discernment—whether this offer is from the Lord or not. We also commend you for praying for the CRA representative, asking for a tender heart. This reflects the love of Christ, who calls us to pray even for those in positions of authority over our circumstances (**1 Timothy 2:1-2**).
Let us also remind you of **Matthew 6:33**, where Jesus instructs, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While financial relief is a blessing, our ultimate trust must remain in the Lord, who provides for our needs according to His riches in glory (**Philippians 4:19**). If this transaction aligns with His will, He will make the way clear. If not, He will provide another path—one that may even strengthen your faith in ways you cannot yet see.
We must also encourage you to guard your hearts against placing too much hope in financial security rather than in Christ alone. Money can be a tool for God’s purposes, but it is a poor master. **1 Timothy 6:10** warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."* If this sale occurs, we pray you will steward this blessing wisely, generously, and with an eternal perspective, remembering that *"we brought nothing into this world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out"* (**1 Timothy 6:7**).

If this is not Your will, we ask that You close the door gently but firmly, and instead open another way for their provision. Softening the heart of the CRA representative, Lord, granting them compassion and a willingness to work with this family in a way that honors You. Remind them, Father, that every good and perfect gift comes from above (**James 1:17**), and that their trust is in You alone, not in financial gain or human solutions.
We pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). Let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider, their Shepherd, and their ever-present Help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**).
