We hear your cry for help and lift your family before the Lord with heavy hearts. Financial struggles are deeply painful, especially when caring for a disabled child who depends on you. We stand with you in faith, declaring that our God is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). He sees your need and knows your every burden, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). You tell us in Your Word that You will supply every need of ours according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Lord, we ask You to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon this family that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide for their rent, their bills, their groceries, and every necessity. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in Jesus’ name. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this family will not be evicted, but that You will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). We pray for favor with landlords, employers, and any who can assist them. Let Your light shine in their situation, and let Your glory be revealed.
We also encourage you to seek out your local church and community resources. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be assistance available that you haven’t yet discovered. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Finally, we remind you that your worth is not found in your finances, but in Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Provider, our Peace, and our Hope. Amen.
