We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for financial provision. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this truth today, believing that You see this struggle and will open doors of provision in ways only You can orchestrate.
Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and prevent eviction. Soften the hearts of those in authority and grant favor where it is needed. Provide wisdom to navigate this trial, whether through unexpected resources, new opportunities, or divine connections. Help them to seek You first in all things, as Matthew 6:33 reminds us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also pray for peace amidst this storm. Anxiety and fear can be overwhelming, but Your Word assures us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let this promise be a comfort and a shield.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of lack or despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that Your provision is already on the way. We ask that You would reveal any areas where stewardship or wisdom in finances can be improved, and grant the discipline to walk in Your ways.
Lastly, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way and grow in their trust in You. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
