We join with you in bringing this heavy financial burden before our Father in heaven and we lift up your spouse with you in prayer, asking God to open doors for meaningful employment.

We understand the weight that debt can bring and the anxiety of needing provision for your household. We are reminded in scripture that our God is a provider who cares for our needs. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19. And again, Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33. We also take seriously what scripture teaches about debt, that The borrower is servant to the lender. Prov 22:7 and Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Rom 13:8. This does not mean God condemns you for having debt, but He does call us to steward what He has given us with diligence, honesty, and faithful planning. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Prov 21:5.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture also says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne with our needs. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that You know our needs before we ask and that You care for us as a Father cares for His children. We lift up this debt of eighty thousand to You. You see the burden it has placed on this family and the desire to be free from its weight. We ask for Your mercy and Your miraculous provision according to Your will, whether through unexpected provision, wise opportunities, or steady employment and increased stewardship. Give wisdom to manage finances faithfully, to create a budget, to be diligent and content while trusting You. We pray for the spouse, that You would open a door for employment that honors You and provides for the household. Give favor in applications and interviews, give strength and diligence to work heartily as for You, for we remember, If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. 2 Thess 3:10. Lead this spouse to work that uses their gifts and sustains their marriage. We pray for peace in this home, that anxiety would be replaced with trust, and that this trial would draw you both closer to Jesus and to each other in your marriage covenant. Help you to seek first Your kingdom together and to be faithful in little and in much. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and provider. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek God daily in prayer and in His Word, to be faithful in stewardship, and to support your spouse in the search for work with prayer, encouragement, and practical help. Trust that God is faithful, He has not forgotten you, and He will provide for your needs in His perfect timing and way. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Pet 5:7.

We appreciate you sharing this so honestly, the weight of R80000 in debt and carrying the uncertainty of your spouse being out of work. That is a heavy burden to hold, and we are praying with you for God's provision and guidance.

We join you in asking the Lord for His help with both needs, for wisdom with the debt and for an open door to good, steady work for your spouse. As we pray, it can bring some steadiness to take a couple of practical steps alongside prayer. Many have found it helpful to meet with a trusted financial counselor or a stewardship ministry at a local church to look at budgeting and a realistic repayment plan. In many areas a consumer credit counseling service can also help you review options with creditors and put a clear plan in place, which often eases some of the pressure while you wait on the Lord. For employment, a local job center or a small group focused on employment transitions can offer practical help with applications and encouragement from others who understand that search.

We are asking God to give you both wisdom for each decision and peace as you walk through this together.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. You see this debt and You know their needs and the desire for work. We ask for Your provision, for wisdom in every financial step, and for You to open the right employment opportunity for his spouse. Guard their hearts and give them strength and unity as they trust You day by day. Amen.

We have heard your request and have brought it before the Lord, that He would remember you and your household in this time of heavy burden.

You ask for deliverance from a debt of R### and for employment for your spouse, and these are cares which our heavenly Father does not despise. Though the need feels great and the way forward hidden, the Lord has often made provision for His people even when they could not see it, and He remains Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. As it is written, my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and we are taught to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that needful things shall be added.

We have prayed that the Lord in His wisdom and mercy would open a door of honest employment for your spouse, that He would grant favour, strength and diligence for work, and that He would give you both wisdom to steward what He entrusts to you with faithfulness and integrity. We have asked Him to make a way for this debt to be met, whether by His gracious provision through work, through wise counsel and ordering of your affairs, or by such means as His providence appoints, and above all that He would guard your hearts from anxiety and draw you nearer to Christ, who loved His spouse the Church and gave Himself for her, and who delights to care for those joined together in His ordinance of marriage.

May you be kept in patient trust, looking to the Lord not only for the gift but for the Giver, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you. Be diligent in what your hands find to do, be faithful in little, be honest in all dealings, seek godly counsel for the ordering of your debts, and continue in prayer and in the Word, that your faith may be strengthened while you wait upon His answer.

We pray that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, and that He who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think will be your portion and your provision according to His perfect will.

Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this burden with us and for allowing us to pray with you. We understand the weight that debt can bring and the concern you carry for your household and for your spouse as you seek employment.

We have prayed for you, asking our Father in heaven to provide for your needs according to His wisdom and mercy, to grant you peace as you trust Him, and to open a door for work for your spouse. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to God and salvation.

Scripture reminds us that God is able to do more than we ask or imagine, and also that He calls us to seek Him first, not only for what He can give but for who He is. He fed the multitudes, yet He also taught them not to follow Him only for bread, but to cling to what is spiritual and lasting. The greatest work God does in us is not always a sudden miracle, but the forming of steadfast faith, endurance, and love of virtue through daily trust and obedience.

So we pray not only for relief from this R80000 debt, but for wisdom for you both in stewardship, in work, and in every decision, that God would guide you to use what you have faithfully, to be diligent in what He has placed before you, and to trust His provision day by day. We pray that He would provide for your spouse meaningful and honest work, that He would give strength and favor in seeking it, and that your home would know His peace even while you wait.

Father, we lift this family to You. You know the exact need and the exact amount owed. You know the skills and needs of this spouse who is seeking employment. Provide according to Your perfect will, give wisdom to manage resources well, open opportunities for work, and help this family to keep their eyes on You above all. Sustain them, keep them from anxiety, and teach them to abound in thankfulness and faithfulness in small things and in great. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and provider. Amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer. If you are able, continue to seek godly counsel for finances and employment, work diligently with the strength God gives, and cast all your care on Him, for He cares for you.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and allowing us to pray with you about the debt you are carrying and the need for employment for your spouse. These are heavy burdens, and we do not take them lightly.

We want to encourage you that God has not boxed Himself in. In the law there was a situation that was considered hopeless and incurable, yet God still wrote into the law what to do in the day that person was cleansed. He made room for His own power to work. He left provision for a miracle if He chose to do it. In the same way we should never put God in a box when it comes to our finances or our work. What looks impossible to us is not beyond Him, and we can give Him room to work as He desires.

Scripture also speaks plainly about debt. The borrower becomes a slave to the lender, and God does not delight in systems that trap people and promise fulfillment through things that can never satisfy the heart. Debt can feel like slavery, and God cares about that bondage. He sees the pressure, the interest, the sleepless nights, and He invites us to bring every need to Him, whether it is spiritual, physical, or financial. As James says, we have not because we ask not, so we are glad you asked.

We also know God provides for His people through work. From the beginning He has called us to labor with our hands and to trust Him to open doors. We will pray that the Lord opens a suitable door of employment for your spouse, work that provides with dignity and meets the needs of your household.

Above all, we want to remind you of the one provision God has made for our greatest need. There is only one way for sin to be forgiven and for our guilt to be put away, and that is through Jesus Christ, His only Son. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Every other sin can be forgiven, but to refuse His provision leaves no other hope. If you have not already, put your trust fully in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and for new life. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth and brings us into the righteousness that God counts as ours through faith in Christ.

So let us pray together for you.

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the weight of this debt and the exact amount that is owed. You know the worry it brings and the desire to be free from this burden. We ask for Your mercy and Your help. Provide as You see best, give wisdom for stewardship and for every decision about money, and lead toward freedom from being enslaved to debt. We also lift up this spouse to You. You know the need for employment. Open the right door, provide work that is honest and sustaining, and give encouragement while waiting. Above all, draw both hearts closer to Jesus, trusting Him as Your only provision for forgiveness and life. Give peace, guidance, and joy even in trial, and help to walk faithfully one step at a time. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

If you are able, continue to seek wise counsel about budgeting and debt, be faithful in little things, and keep bringing every need to the Lord in prayer. He hears, He cares, and He is able to work in ways beyond what we expect.
