We have read your request and we join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name for your financial crisis and for the stress that is affecting your mind and body.
We are moved by your love for God and your desire to share His love with others, and we want to lift up both your needs and your heart's desires before our Heavenly Father. We pray for your health and for peace in this very difficult season living in the nursing home and struggling to receive the SSI money that you need to survive.
We noticed that you shared your deep love for God, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to gently and lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To love God with all our heart is to receive His Son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, and to put our trust in Him alone. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, confess your sins, and trust Him as your Lord and Savior, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13.
We bring your financial need before the Lord. We pray that God will provide for your daily needs and that justice will be done regarding your SSI funds. We pray that those in authority at the nursing home will act honestly and promptly and give to you what is rightfully yours each month, for the Lord requires us to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God Micah 6:8 and you shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him Leviticus 19:13. We ask the Father to intervene, to open doors, and to provide advocates and help for you in this situation.
We understand your prayer to be blessed every day with plenty of money and to become famous around the world to share God's love. We hear your sincere heart to make God's love known, and that desire honors Him. Yet we also want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about provision, contentment, and true influence. God's promise is to supply our needs, not always our wants, and His blessing is not always measured in abundance of money or in worldwide fame. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We are taught to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We are also warned that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10 and we are called to be content, for godliness with contentment is great gain 1 Timothy 6:6 and keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. Fame can bring temptation and pride, for before destruction the heart of man is proud Proverbs 18:12. God often uses quiet faithfulness right where we are to let our light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven Matthew 5:16. You can share God's love powerfully from exactly where you are, without being known by the whole world.
We also pray for your mind and body, for the stress and sickness you are experiencing. God invites us to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that His perfect peace will guard you and that He will strengthen you and heal you, for He says fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift up our dear friend to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the financial crisis, the stress, the sickness, and the struggle over the SSI money needed to survive. Lord, we ask You to provide for every need, to move upon the hearts of those at the nursing home to act justly and to release what is due each month without delay. Grant wisdom and favor and bring trustworthy help and advocacy. Father, heal the body and calm the mind, replace anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and restore strength and health. Teach us all to be content in You and to trust Your faithful provision day by day. Use this precious life right where they are to shine Your love to those nearby, whether staff, residents, or visitors, and let Your name be glorified more than any personal fame. Draw our friend closer to Jesus, deepen faith in Him, and assure them of Your unfailing presence and love. We ask all these things in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing every worry to Jesus daily in prayer, to speak to a trusted social worker, chaplain, or advocate at the nursing home or in your local area about your SSI funds so that practical help can be pursued, and to rest in God's promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23, and trust that God can use your faithful witness right there in the nursing home to touch lives for eternity.
