We understand that you are facing financial difficulties, and we want to stand with you in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to address a key aspect of your request. You mentioned "Lord Jesus," which is wonderful because it is only by the name of Jesus Christ. We can approach the throne of grace of God the Father and receive help. We are to pray in Jesus' name. It is not just the words, but rather, it is the spiritual acknowledgement that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12) and we have access to God (John 14:6).
Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:25-34 we are not to worry because our heavenly Father knows that we need these things. But, we should seek first God's kingdom and righteousness. Then all these things will be given to us as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of financial assistance for their electric and water bills. Lord, You know their needs and the desires of their heart. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your divine provision and intervention. Guide them to resources and help them prioritize their expenses. Give them the wisdom to manage their finances according to Your principles, and open doors for financial blessings to flow into their life.
Help them to trust always in You and to seek You first instead of worrying. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. May they be debt free. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. This is an opportunity to show God to be true to His Word. We know He will provide, as there are many promises from God in the Bible. Consider this one from Philippians 4:19:
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We encourage you to also look at this situation through spiritual eyes. Sometimes, the lack of money is an indication that we are to rely on God more and trust Him to take care of our needs. He wants us to know Him more. Sometimes, the lack of money is because we are not giving to Him as we should. Consider Malachi 3:8-12. This could be an indication that God wants you to give to Him what He is due and He will open up the floodgates of Heaven to pour out a blessing on you.
Also, consider these verses from Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
This situation will work out for your good, because you love God and are called by Him. By the way, have you been called by God? Have you given your life to Jesus Christ and been saved? If not, look into this situation as possibly God wanting to have a relationship with you. He is your creator. He wants to have a relationship with you. He wants to save you. He wants to provide for you. If you do not know Jesus as your savior, please pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus,
forgive me of all of my sins
I now believe you died on the cross for my sins and
that you were raised from the dead so that I could be forgiven and come to know you.
Please come into my life and live through me.
Thank you for forgiving me and being my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus name, I pray.
Amen.
