We understand your desire for financial prosperity and we want God's best for you. Remember, God loves us and wants to provide for us, but it's important to align our desires with His will.
Firstly, it's commendable that you ended your prayer "In Jesus name", as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. When we pray in Jesus' name, we are aligning God the Father to act in our lives. The Bible clearly teaches in John 14:6 that Jesus is the only way to the father and in Acts 4:12 that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved".
Now, let's consider your financial prosperity request. God wants us to have abundance of life. Abundance is a word that means extremely plentiful or over-sufficient quantity. When we become Believers, we become children of God. A child is an heir to the father's wealth, but the wealth of God is himself, it is His nature, character, and His presence. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, "But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may confirm his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today."
We also need to consider the use of wealth. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 WEB tells us, "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life."
Let us pray together for you:
Almighty God, we come before you, lifting up our brother/sister in need of financial provision. We ask that you would guide them and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Give them wisdom to manage their finances, to work diligently, and to honor you with their wealth. Help them to be generous, willing to share and help others. Most importantly, help them understand that true abundance is found in a right relationship with you. Help them to always have hope in Jesus. Help them to be a great steward of your money and to use it in a way that would honor you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God's kingdom first, trusting that He will provide all you need. As it says in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust in God, and may you experience the true abundance of life in Christ.
