It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, and we notice that His name is not invoked in your request. This is not a small matter, for Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard.
