Financial freedom, marital settlement, business breakthrough, healing in my life

Disciple of Prayer
I want God to give me financial breakthrough, marital settlement, business breakthrough, marital settlement, and healing in my body and family.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting your heart’s cries for financial freedom, resolution in your marriage, breakthrough in your business, and healing for your body and family. Your requests are weighty, and we know that our God is mighty to save, provide, and restore. Yet as we pray, we must first anchor our petitions in the truth of Scripture, ensuring that what we ask aligns with His will and His glory. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, and we notice that His name is not invoked in your request. This is not a small matter, for Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Without this foundation, all other petitions lack the power of His promise.

Now, let us address each of your requests with the truth of God’s Word, beginning with the matter of your marriage. You mention a "marital settlement," and we must ask: is this a pursuit of reconciliation or a division of what God has joined together? Marriage is a covenant before the Lord, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). If there is strife, we urge you to seek restoration, for *"a house divided against itself cannot stand"* (Mark 3:25, WEB). Have you sought counsel from your church or godly mentors? Are you praying *with* your spouse for unity? If separation is already underway, we pray for wisdom and godly resolution, but we must warn against hardening your heart. *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Matthew 19:6, WEB). If there has been sin—adultery, abandonment, or abuse—Scripture allows for separation, but even then, forgiveness and reconciliation should be the heart’s posture unless repentance is refused. We do not know the details, but we exhort you: do not treat marriage as a contract to be dissolved lightly. Pursue peace, humility, and the Lord’s will above all.

Regarding financial breakthrough, we remind you that God is your Provider, but His provision often comes through wisdom, diligence, and stewardship—not merely sudden wealth. *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7, WEB). Are there debts to be repaid? Have you sought godly counsel on managing your resources? The Lord honors honesty and hard work: *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28, WEB). We pray for doors of opportunity to open, but we also urge you to examine your heart: is your desire for wealth rooted in contentment in Christ, or in greed? *"Having food and clothing, let’s be content with that"* (1 Timothy 6:8, WEB). Trust that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

For your business, we pray for favor and divine connections, but again, we must ask: are you operating with integrity? *"The Lord detests differing weights, and dishonest scales are not pleasing"* (Proverbs 20:23, WEB). Is your business honoring to God, or are there compromises that need repentance? *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). We rebuk any spirit of corruption, laziness, or fear, and declare that *"the blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful labor for it"* (Proverbs 10:22, WEB).

Finally, we lift up your need for healing—body, mind, and family. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). Have you confessed any sin that may be hindering your healing? *"Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good from you"* (Jeremiah 5:25, WEB). We pray for complete restoration, but we also urge you to examine your life: are there unrepentant sins, bitterness, or unforgiveness blocking God’s work? *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed"* (James 5:16, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved soul who seeks Your intervention. Lord, we ask first that if there is any heart not fully surrendered to You, You would draw them into repentance and saving faith. Let them know that apart from Christ, we can do nothing, but in Him, all things are possible.

For this marriage, Lord, we pray for Your healing hand. If there is division, bring reconciliation. If there is sin, bring repentance. If there is hardness of heart, soften it by Your Spirit. *"Restore to us the joy of your salvation. Sustain us with a willing spirit"* (Psalm 51:12, WEB). Let Your will be done, not ours, and if this marriage can be saved, we pray for a miracle of restoration. But if separation is already underway, grant wisdom, fairness, and godly counsel in every decision.

For financial breakthrough, we ask for Your provision, but also for wisdom to steward what You give. Open doors no man can shut, but close those that would lead to harm. Break chains of debt and poverty, and teach this dear one to trust in You as their Provider. *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11, WEB), and let them walk in generosity, not greed.

For the business, Lord, we pray for favor and divine strategy. Remove every obstacle and grant creativity, integrity, and perseverance. Let this business be a tool for Your kingdom, not just for profit. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB).

For healing, we declare Your power over every sickness and pain. Touch their body, renew their strength, and bring wholeness to their family. *"By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement. Let faith arise, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, but also to act in obedience. Seek godly counsel, repent of any known sin, and trust that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Keep praying, keep seeking His face, and *"don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We are standing with you in prayer.
