We are deeply grieved to hear of the financial hardship your family is enduring, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Provider of all things. The loss of your property and the unpaid funds have placed you in a desperate situation, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and calls us to cast all our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). This trial is not beyond His power to redeem, and we trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a hollow promise but a truth we can cling to, even when circumstances seem impossible. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on trusting Him, even as you take practical steps to seek resolution.
That said, we must also address the importance of seeking justice in this matter. If the sale of your property was conducted lawfully, you have a right to the funds owed to you. Proverbs 21:15 tells us, *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but a terror to evildoers."* We encourage you to seek wise counsel—whether through legal avenues, trusted advisors in your church, or godly mentors—who can help you navigate this situation with integrity and persistence. Do not lose heart in pursuing what is rightfully yours, but do so with a spirit of humility and trust in the Lord’s timing.
We also urge you to bring this burden before your local church body. The early believers in Acts 2:44-45 were known for their generosity and care for one another: *"All who believed were together, and had all things in common. They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need."* If you are part of a Bible-believing church, now is the time to humbly share your need with your pastor or elders. God often works through His people to provide for His children, and pride should not keep you from receiving the help He may have ordained for you through others.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to boldly come before God in the name of Jesus, for He intercedes for us even now (Romans 8:34).
Let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious family before Your throne of grace, asking for Your divine intervention in their financial crisis. Lord, You see their distress—the unpaid funds, the mounting rent, and the weight of uncertainty pressing upon them. We ask that You, the God of justice and provision, would move mightily on their behalf. Open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and restore what has been wrongfully withheld. Give them wisdom to navigate this situation, favor with those in authority, and the perseverance to seek what is right without wavering.
Father, we pray for supernatural provision—whether through the recovery of their funds, the generosity of Your people, or unexpected sources of income. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet their every need according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen their faith in this season, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), even as they wait upon You.
We also pray for their hearts, Lord. Guard them against bitterness, fear, or despair. Remind them that their worth is not found in their circumstances but in their identity as Your beloved children. If there are areas of unforgiveness or anxiety, we ask that You would convict and comfort them by Your Holy Spirit.
Finally, Father, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them. If there is anyone in their family who does not yet know You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We rebuked any spirit of theft, deceit, or oppression that has come against this family in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the Lord will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
