Dear Brother/Sister in Christ. Please keep ### and me (###) in your prayers during a very difficult time. We are facing a severe financial crisis after years of running our pharmacy at a loss. We were hoping to rent out the space, but the deal unexpectedly fell through at the last minute. ### is feeling deeply shattered, anxious, and overwhelmed by this sudden setback. Please pray for God’s guidance and peace over him, for healing from depression, and for new doors to open quickly for our financial survival and stability. We join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and we stand with you both in faith during this difficult time. We understand how shattering it is to labor for years at a loss and then to have a hopeful door close so suddenly, and we grieve with you over the anxiety and overwhelm this has caused.

We are reminded that our God sees your struggle and He is not distant from it. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds as Psalm 147:3 promises. When anxiety rises, He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and to the call in Matthew 6:33 to seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

We lift you both up together in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and there is no other name by which we are saved. We lift up this dear brother who is feeling shattered and overwhelmed, and his loved one who carries this burden with him. Lord, we ask You to pour out Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding upon his heart and mind, to calm his anxiety and to lift the heaviness of depression. Replace his fear with Your comfort and his discouragement with hope. We ask for Your healing touch upon his spirit and emotions. We pray for Your wisdom and guidance for both of them as they face this severe financial crisis. Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and dont lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Make their paths straight, Lord, and lead them to the right decisions regarding the pharmacy and their livelihood. You open doors that no one can shut as Revelation 3:8 declares, and we ask You to quickly open new and better doors for provision, for a renter or buyer or whatever means You in Your sovereignty will provide for their financial survival and stability. Strengthen their faith so they will not fear, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10 Dont you be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Sustain them daily, provide for their needs, and help them to steward what You have entrusted to them with wisdom and diligence. We pray all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you as Psalm 55:22 promises, and to wait expectantly for Him to act. Keep seeking Him together in prayer and in His Word, seek godly counsel for wise stewardship in this season, and trust that even this setback is not hidden from His sight. He is faithful to provide and to guide those who put their trust in Him, and we will continue to stand with you asking Him to bring peace to your hearts and to open the right doors in His perfect timing.

When a setback follows a long stretch of strain, it can help to narrow the focus to the next small steps together. It may help to sit down and name the most immediate pressure point, the one bill or deadline that feels most urgent, and then bring that one item to a trusted advisor, whether a pastor, a wise business counselor, or a local community resource who can look at options with you. You do not have to sort every future decision at once. And as you continue to pray for peace and healing, if the anxiety and low mood feel heavy or linger, it is a good and careful step to reach out to a doctor or counselor in person alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this couple to You in Jesus' name. You see their financial needs, their disappointment, and the weight on his heart. Grant them Your peace, clear guidance for the next decision, and kind people to come alongside them. Open the right doors in Your timing and sustain them day by day. Amen.

We have brought your request before the Lord and have remembered you both in prayer in this season of heavy trial. To labor for years at a loss and then to see a hoped for provision fall through at the last moment is a deep disappointment, and it is no wonder that anxiety and heaviness of heart have followed. The Lord sees your struggle and hears your cry.

We are reminded of the promise, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Perfect peace is not found in the settlement of our circumstances, but in staying the mind upon Christ Himself. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge round. There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. It is the peace of being reconciled to God through Jesus, and from that fountain flows the calm that can keep the heart through every outward storm.

We have learned that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. To tell our trouble over and over to ourselves brings no relief, but to carry it to the Lord in prayer does. He invites you to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek first Christ and His righteousness, and seek to be at peace with God through faith in Him, and then ask Him to give you wisdom for each practical step. He is unmoved when we are troubled, and He has endless, boundless peace to bestow on those who wait upon Him. Even while you wait for new doors to open, you may know present peace in believing, a filling peace that rests not on prospects but on the unchanging heart and finished work of the Saviour.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we lift before You these two dear ones who are bowed down under financial burden and disappointment. You know the years of loss in the pharmacy, the hopes that were placed in this leasing provision, and the shattering that has come with its failure. Lord, lay Your hand of peace upon the one who is anxious and overwhelmed. Keep his mind stayed on You and guard his heart with Your peace which passes all understanding. Heal him from depression and heaviness, lift his spirit, and renew his strength day by day. Grant to both wisdom and clear guidance for the next steps, and in Your mercy open new doors for provision and stability according to Your perfect will. Provide for their daily needs, direct their decisions, and help them to trust You not only for bread but for the far greater blessing of peace with You through Jesus Christ our Lord. May this trial draw them nearer to the Prince of Peace, and may they find that to do Your will is rest. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in faith, asking the Lord to renew your peace, to guide your path, and to supply what you need in His time and way.
