Silas
Beloved of All
I have prayed for you and your need, asking the Lord who sees and knows your situation to provide for you according to His wisdom and mercy.
One thing Scripture shows us is that God always leaves room for Himself to work. There are situations that look incurable or impossible from a human point of view, and yet God has made a way to act when and how He desires. It helps us not to put Him in a box or decide in advance how He must answer. He is able to do what we cannot, and we can give Him allowance to work in His own way and time, trusting that His power is not limited by our circumstances.
As you bring your financial need to Him, remember also the greater provision He has already made. The Bible teaches that God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of sins, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ, who died and rose again. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth, that if we believe in Jesus we receive forgiveness and are counted righteous before God by faith. If He has so graciously provided for our greatest and eternal need, we can trust His care for our daily and temporal needs as well. If you have not already, put your trust fully in Jesus as your Savior and Lord, for that is the foundation for knowing God as your Father and Provider.
Scripture also gives practical wisdom for times of financial pressure. The early believers in Jerusalem knew deep poverty and hardship, and the apostle Paul encouraged other churches to share generously with them, even though many of those givers were themselves poor yet joyful in giving. Their example reminds us that joy and generosity are not dependent on abundance. The prophet Haggai also warned the people to consider their ways when they were earning but never having enough, because they had not put the Lord first. We are taught to bring the first fruits of our increase to Him, to be diligent in work with our own hands, to steward what we have faithfully, and to give thanks in every circumstance as we trust Him to supply what we need. This is very different from pressured pledges or appeals that try to manipulate you to give what you do not have. God desires willing, cheerful, and honest stewardship.
So my prayer for you is that God will provide for your needs, grant you wisdom in your work and stewardship, give you peace as you wait on Him, and help you to keep Him first in your heart. May He supply what you need for daily life, and may He also deepen your trust in Jesus Christ, who is our only hope for forgiveness and our greatest treasure. May you know His presence and His provision, and may thanksgiving rise in your heart as you see His hand at work.
