We hear the weight of your burden and we join together with you before the throne of grace, for we know our Heavenly Father sees your struggle to provide for your family and to keep what you need for daily life. We understand the fear that comes with being on the verge of repossession when every dollar is already stretched to cover childcare and food, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are not forgotten by God.
We are reminded of His promise to provide for His children as we walk faithfully with Him. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And Jesus taught us, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. He also reminds us not to be anxious, saying Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32. We have also seen the truth that I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently share this truth with you because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, not only for your financial needs but for your eternal hope, and to come to God in His name.
We also want to encourage you with godly wisdom for this difficult season. God calls us to be faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to us. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Proverbs 21:5. We encourage you to seek wise counsel, to make your needs known to your lender who may offer options before repossession, to reach out to your local church family for practical help and counsel, and to bring every decision before the Lord in prayer, trusting in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. God honors diligence, humility, and a heart that seeks Him first above all else, and He can make a way even when we see no way.
We now pray together for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know the anxiety over this car, the cost of childcare, the need for food, and the fear of losing what is needed to work and provide. We ask You to have mercy and to bring a breakthrough according to Your will and Your riches in glory. We pray for Your provision to cover every true need, for wisdom to steward finances well, for favor with the lender and for open doors for additional help or work if it is Your will. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and for faith to trust You even in this trial. We ask that You draw this one closer to Jesus, that they would know Him as Savior and Provider, and that their life would bring glory to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily, to pour out your heart to Him honestly, and to trust that He hears and cares. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for God’s provision, protection, and peace to be evident in your life.
