Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for a major financial breakthrough and for bills that are behind to be brought current has been heard, and I am joining you in prayer in the name of Jesus.
I pray that the Lord in His mercy will provide for your needs, give you wisdom in stewardship, open doors for honest provision through work and opportunity, and help you to meet every obligation that is pressing upon you. May He grant you peace as you trust Him, and guide your steps so that what you have is used faithfully and well.
Scripture reminds us that we owe a great debt to God which He in His patience forbears to exact, forgiving us freely in Christ when we could never pay. Remembering how much we have been forgiven helps us to be humble and thankful, and to show mercy to others as God has shown mercy to us. As you seek God for provision, hold fast to that same spirit of mercy and integrity in your dealings with others.
We are also taught not to make provision for excess and wantonness, but to care for what is needful for health and for a faithful life, while setting our chief care upon spiritual things. This life passes quickly, and riches or want in this world are not the measure of our standing before God. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He knows what you need and will supply what is needful in His time.
I pray that God will give you contentment and diligence, deliver you from anxiety, help you to live within the provision He gives, and in His grace bring your bills current. May He strengthen your faith, guard you from discouragement, and teach you to depend daily upon Him who owns all things and who loves to repay with increase those who walk in faithfulness and generosity.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for Your provision for this need, for wisdom to manage resources well, for relief from the burden of debt, and for a steady hope in Your goodness. Provide as You see best, and shape this trial to grow trust and holiness. Amen.
