We join together in lifting up ### before the Lord, seeking His divine provision and peace in this time of need. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We must trust that God is faithful to provide, not just materially, but also in strength and wisdom as ### navigates this challenge.
It is also written in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let us encourage ### to place his trust fully in the Lord, seeking His Kingdom above all else, knowing that God will take care of his needs as he remains faithful.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Luke 12:22-26, where He teaches us not to worry about our lives, for life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. God, who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies of the field, will certainly care for His children. Let ### cast all his anxiety on the Lord, for He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7).
However, we must also consider that while God can move in miraculous ways, He often works through the obedience and generosity of His people. If ### has not yet sought wise counsel or exhausted honest, practical efforts, we encourage him to do so. Proverbs 13:11 tells us, *"Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow."* Let us pray that if borrowing is necessary, it would be done with integrity, wisdom, and a clear plan for repayment, so that no burden of debt would become a snare.
We also note that this request was made without explicitly invoking the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). Let us remind ###—and all who pray—that salvation and answered prayer come through faith in Jesus alone. If ### does not yet know Christ as his Savior, we urge him to repent and believe in the Gospel (Mark 1:15), for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his need for financial breakthrough. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon him. Grant him favor in the sight of those who can assist him, and let Your wisdom guide his steps as he seeks to meet the needs of his workers. Remove all fear and anxiety from his heart, replacing them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.
If there is any area in ###’s life where he has not been fully surrendered to You, we ask that You convict him by Your Holy Spirit and lead him to repentance. Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We also pray that if ### does not yet know You as his Lord and Savior, that this season of need would draw him to You. Open his eyes to see his need for salvation through Jesus Christ, and may he turn to You in faith, receiving the gift of eternal life.
Strengthen ###, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness. May he glorify You in all things, and may his workers see Your hand at work in his life. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
