We are truly sorry to hear about the hardships you've been facing, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your situation and desires to help. We are confident that you have sought the Lord in this as you have requested help from him directly. It is our earnest prayer that you experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding and will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:7)
In regards to your financial struggles, we remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink? or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
This might be difficult but God is revealing a principle of trust in him. Each day comes one after another and God is faithful to provide for those who trust in him. God knows what you need, and he will provide. We encourage you to continue seeking God's kingdom and his righteousness, trusting that he will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:19)
Regarding your divorce, we want to remind you of God's heart for marriage. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), God says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and do not be unfaithful to your spouse."
We understand that divorce is painful and difficult, especially when children are involved. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and do everything possible to reconcile if at all possible. We pray that God will bring restoration and healing to your marriage and family.
Finally, we want to lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our sister in need of a financial breakthrough. We pray that you will provide for all her needs and help her to trust in you. We ask for wisdom and guidance as she navigates this difficult season of divorce, and we pray for healing and restoration in her marriage and family. We pray for her children to be kept safe and secure under the shadow of your wings. Bring blessings and favor to her life, and let her testimony be a witness to your goodness and faithfulness. We rebuke any spirit of despair, anxiety, or fear and pray that she is filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of truth. We thank you for your promise to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It's in his name we pray. Amen.
