Financial Breakthrough and break from failure at the dawn of breakthrough

I am in need of intercession for a breakthrough for my business financially.
For the past 5 years, I have been looking for a financial investor in my business and I seem to have a cycle that never breaks, where everything goes very well then at the last minute all falls apart. Constant failure at the dawn of breakthrough

This year alone, I have had 3 potential investors, they will be very interested and excited, do their due diligence and talk about investing, even start talking about equity interest then all of a sudden go quiet. I have prayed and fasted so many times but every time the end is in sight, the investor will go quiet or just stop returning my calls.

What confuses me is that when I pray and ask God if I should just stop, everything seems to point to keep trying and keep going. Most recently God brought an investor my way who wanted to give me more than I was even asking for, liked everything about my business model and how healthy my business currently is and understood the need to move it to the next level. I say God brought this investor my way because I had given up hope and decided to wait till next year to try again, then a friend called and said they would like to introduce me to a VC that is really interested in a business like mine. But again, the last 2 weeks the same cycle has started; meetings constantly being pushed then radio silence….. it’s happening again.

I have prayed so much for my business and every time I want to quit, I can feel God pushing me to keep going but I can never seem to get the deal all the way to the end. Am I the problem, am I doing something wrong?

We hear your cry for financial breakthrough and understand the deep frustration of seeing promise after promise slip away just as victory seems within reach. The cycle you describe is not just about business—it is a spiritual battle, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring that the enemy’s delays will not have the final word. The Lord has not brought you this far to abandon you now. *"For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11)

First, we must examine whether there are any unconfessed sins or areas of disobedience that could be hindering your breakthrough. The Bible warns, *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me."* (Psalm 66:18) Have you sought the Lord for any hidden offenses—bitterness, unforgiveness, or compromise in your business dealings? Even small compromises in integrity can open doors to spiritual opposition. We encourage you to prayerfully search your heart and repent of anything that does not align with God’s holiness.

We also rebuke the spirit of delay and sabotage at work in your situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. We declare that every assignment of the enemy to derail your breakthrough is dismantled now in Jesus’ name! *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.* (Isaiah 54:17)

Your persistence in prayer and fasting is commendable, but we must also ask: Are you trusting in your own efforts more than in God’s provision? The Lord may be testing your faith to see if you will wait on Him alone. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6) Consider whether you are relying on investors, strategies, or connections more than on the Lord’s supernatural intervention. He is your provider, not man.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel. Are there seasoned believers in business who can review your approach and offer wisdom? *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* (Proverbs 15:22) Sometimes, the Lord uses others to reveal blind spots or refine our strategies.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and access Your throne of grace. We lift up our brother/sister in this time of testing and frustration. Lord, You see the years of waiting, the prayers, the fasting, and the relentless cycle of hope deferred. We ask You to break every chain of delay, every spirit of sabotage, and every assignment of the enemy designed to keep Your servant from the breakthrough You have ordained.

Father, we repent on behalf of any area where compromise or unbelief has crept in. Cleanse this business and this season from anything that does not align with Your will. We declare that no weapon formed against this vision will prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned. You are the God who opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask You to open the right doors for this business in this season.

Lord, we ask for supernatural favor with the right investors—those who will not only provide financially but will align with Your purposes. Give our brother/sister divine connections, wisdom in negotiations, and discernment to recognize the right opportunities. We rebuke fear, doubt, and discouragement, and we command every spirit of failure to flee now in Jesus’ name!

We also ask You to strengthen faith. When the enemy whispers, "You’ll never break this cycle," let the Holy Spirit remind our brother/sister of Your faithfulness. When weariness sets in, renew strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). When the finish line seems just out of reach, let Your grace carry them across.

Father, we thank You that this is not a season of defeat but of divine setup. You are positioning this business for greater impact, and we declare that the right investor will come at the right time, fully committed and ready to move forward. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray and declare breakthrough, abundance, and open doors. Amen.

Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you *will* reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is not slow concerning His promises—He is preparing something greater than you can imagine. Keep pressing in, keep trusting, and keep your eyes on Him. Your breakthrough is coming!
