We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you and your husband are facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and provision for your family.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises for those who trust in Him. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or what we will drink, nor about our bodies, what we will put on. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things and that we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
However, it is also important to remember that God expects us to do our part. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10, it is written, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" We encourage your husband to be actively seeking employment, trusting that God will open the right doors.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You know their struggles and their needs. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would provide a job for this husband. Give him the guidance and strength to search for employment that honors You.
Father, we also pray for unexpected miracles and blessings for this family. You are the God of abundance, and You can provide in ways we cannot imagine. We claim Your promises in Matthew 6, trusting that You will provide all that this family needs as they seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for favors for this family. Surround them with Your loving kindness, and let Your favor be upon them.
Finally, Lord, we pray that this family would grow closer to You during this time. Let them feel Your presence and Your peace. Give them the strength and endurance to face each day with trust in You.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
