Blessings in the name of Lord Jesus Christ!
My wife and I asked that you pray for our situation. I was let go on my job on December 1, 2009. My wife has been out of work since April of 2009. As of today, we are behind in our bills; I have not found a job as of yet; and my unemployment compensation has not started. We know that God has fixed our circumstances, and it is only by His grace that we are being kept. However, our Heavenly Father put a Scripture into my heart and a message. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you†(Matthew 7:7, NIV). Sometimes the enemy’s attack will have us so confuse: we will go to God in a crisis, but we tend to turn to the wrong group of people. Instead of looking to government agencies and worldly organizations for help, we should turn to the Body of Christ. God has led us to not only ask you for prayer, but also for financial assistance. We humbly submit to God’s will. In this time of recession, God is looking for the Body of Christ to support each other in every way. We realize that everyone receives so many requests that you can not assist everyone financially, but what is important is that you have joined us in agreement in prayer. We would greatly appreciate any monies that you give us, and we know that our testimony of what you have done for us is going to be powerful. Our witness is going to bring many souls to Christ and deliver others from bondage. May God pour out blessings and an abundant life on you all, brothers and sisters!
