I am in need of prayer for steady employment for myself and for our business to get going. We prayed for a sogn from God to purchase equipment for our bisiness to grow and everything started falling into place now feels as though we are drowning with no sight of help. I feel as though i am a complete failure and my family would be better off without me. I feel like God hates me and need to just be gone so the rest of my family will be alright
Whenever we feel like a failure, we can know for sure that the enemy, the accuser is speaking and we are commanded to cast those thoughts down and bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ. You are not the only one who has been getting that same message, for many on here have come to a place of desperation when Jesus said, I already overcame the world. The enemy has been defeated. Now we put on the armor of God, and that is knowing exactly what those pieces represent.
I encourage you to cast those thoughts down, and repent. REpentance is simply changing the way you think and have believed and come into agreement with what God has said. He says, Greater is He that is in you (as a born again of the spirit) than he that is in the world. I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I know God is for me, and not against me. I choose to praise the Lord today, I choose to thank Him for His love for me and my family. I choose to delight myself in the Lord.
See, this is the problem. We focus so much on what we are going through, it's really difficult to see truth, cause our circumstances speak louder. So when we stop focusing on ourselves (know what I am saying, cause I did the same thing) my focus was on our need, when it should have been on the goodness and favor of God who knows my every need. So I began to give him those things and thanking Him for providing for our needs, even when it seemed like it 'wasn't working'.
So I encourage you, to begin to thank the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness. Repent, meaning change the way you see things and believe to what God says about the situation. Give what is concerning to you, and show your children what it means to trust the Lord. You are in their life for a reason, and being a failure is not one of them, but to show forth the love and faithfulness of God. Many a person has sat at the dinner table with nothing to feed their children, say a prayer of thanksgiving and there is a knock at the door and someone bringing food. This is called faith.
Father, I thank you for loving this family, for your every provision is there, in the spiritual waiting to be called out in the physical by faith. So I thank you for giving this man the vision for his business, and ask for further clarification on what is needed to get this off the ground. What comes to me, is begin giving thanks, worship is the foundation of our lives, and when we place our focus on the one who created us for His glory, everything else seems to fade. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness...and all these things will be added. What is the kingdom of God, it is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I read a scripture the other day where it says Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
You've been given all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called you to glory and virtue. You got to get this, the fullness of God is in you, you are complete in Him (as a born again believer). Now, it's growing up into all things in Christ. It is taking your situation, giving it to the Lord and thanking Him for working it out for you. It is looking at your family, and seeing how much they need you to be In their lives. We are not called to selfishness, we are called to selflessness...so reject those negative thoughts, and begin to bless and pray for your family to come to know the abundant love God has for them, and you. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and to love your neighbor(family) as you love yourself. Father, you own the cattle on a thousand hills, thank you that provision will be seen. In Jesus name. Amen.
Aside from the fact, that person who posted this prayer is not the 'real' you, it's simply the old man that poked his head out of the grave, because you've been crucified with Christ, it's no longer you who lives, but Christ who lives in you, and the life that you now live in the flesh, you live by the faith of the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you. You are one with Him by His Spirit.
