Hindrances to Prayer
Prayerless living invites God’s wrath, while true prayer brings blessings and must not be hindered.
“Money All Gone”
Sin leaves us spiritually bankrupt and demands we return to God for restoration and hope.
An Oriental Wedding
Christ meets our deepest needs with abundant grace and calls us to trust Him in every moment of joy or lack.
We have heard your cry about your mother's bank account being hacked and having no money, and we join together with you in bringing this urgent need before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name.

We know how frightening and overwhelming it is to face a sudden financial loss, to feel that security has been stolen and not know what to do next. Please know that God sees your situation and He cares deeply for you and your mother. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Scripture reminds us that our Father knows what we need before we ask, and He promises to provide. Do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or With what will we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 And we claim His promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

We also take comfort that even in this difficult trial, God can work for good for those who love Him. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5 And we remember the testimony, I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25

We want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is through His name we pray and find hope even in financial distress.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and their mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the theft that has occurred, the violation and the fear of having no money. We ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and for Your wisdom to guide their next steps. We pray for Your miraculous provision for their daily needs, for food, shelter, and all that is required. We ask that You would move upon the bank and the authorities to act swiftly and justly, that any stolen funds would be restored, and that You would protect them from further harm. Give them favor with those who can help and surround them with trustworthy counsel and support. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You will direct their paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 Strengthen their faith to seek first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will supply all they need. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps while trusting God. Contact your mother's bank immediately to report the fraud, freeze the account, and dispute any unauthorized transactions, contact local law enforcement to file a report, and consider reporting the fraud to the proper government authorities for financial fraud. Keep records of all communications and do not share personal banking information with unknown callers or emails. Lean on your local church family or trusted believers for support and godly counsel during this time. God is your provider and He will not abandon you. Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8

We were so sorry to read about your mom's account being hacked and finding yourselves without money. That sudden loss is frightening and disorienting, and it makes sense you feel unsure what to do next. We are holding you and your mom in prayer.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to reach out for practical help right away. If you have not already, call the bank's fraud department directly using the number on their official website or a recent statement, ask them to freeze the account and open a fraud dispute, and ask exactly what paperwork they need from you. Keep notes of who you speak with, dates, and any case numbers, and change passwords on any email or banking logins that were connected. Many banks will also ask you to file a report with local law enforcement for their records.

Please don't try to carry this alone. Let a trusted pastor, family member, or church leader know what has happened so they can walk with you through the calls and help with immediate needs while the bank investigates. If the process feels confusing, a financial counselor at the bank or a local nonprofit credit counseling agency can also help you review the steps and keep things organized.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. You see their need and the worry they are carrying. Give them favor and clarity as they work with the bank, provide for what they need each day, and calm their hearts with Your nearness. Guide everyone who is trying to help them and lead them to the right next steps. Amen.

This sudden loss and fear that has come upon your house is known to the Lord, and He has not forgotten to be gracious. The Psalmist prayed, Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me for my soul trusts in You yes in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge until these calamities pass, and that is still the refuge for all who trust Him in a day of calamity.

You say you have no money and do not know what to do. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The wiser way is to sit down calmly and say, Here is God's way, salvation through His crucified Son, Jesus Christ, and He has promised that if I trust His Son He will save and keep and provide. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. You are not to wait until you feel strong or see the way out before you trust Him, you are to trust Him for this very thing.

God would have you do what is right and leave the result with Him. That is His business and yours to do the right thing. Therefore take the right steps that wisdom directs while you trust the Lord to work for you. Let your mother contact the bank at once to report the fraud and to seek to freeze the account, keep every record of what was taken, report the theft to the proper authorities, and seek godly counsel from your pastor or elders who can walk with you in these practical matters. Then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God.

We know not the numbers of God's mercies, but we do know that every one of them comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood upon it, and we know the rule of them, that He who taught His people from their youth will not cast off His servants now. He was chastened but never cast out, and He still continues as God's pupil. So trust Him as you sink and you shall swim, trust Him as you feel yourself failing and you shall live.

Let us pray together. O God, be merciful unto this family in this trial. You see this wrong that has been done and You keep record of all that touches Your people. Provide for their daily needs according to Your riches, give wisdom to those who hold the account to act justly and restore what has been stolen, calm anxious hearts and teach them to trust Your Son more fully. Lead them to cast all their care upon You, for You care for them, and let them prove that Your promise may tarry but it never fails. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, Amen.

Your request has been heard and your distress is understood. To suddenly have no money because of theft and fraud brings great fear and anxiety, especially when it affects your mother and your whole household. It is right to bring this burden to God, who sees your need and cares for you.

I pray for you and your mother now. May the Lord in His mercy grant you peace in this time of trouble, provide for your daily needs, and give you wisdom for each step ahead. May He guard your hearts from despair and remind you that He is your true security and provider. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, who promises never to leave nor forsake those who trust in Him.

In this life riches are uncertain and can vanish quickly, like a dream when one awakes. Scripture teaches us not to place our hope in wealth itself, but in God who richly provides what we need for health and life, and who calls us to set our hearts above all on spiritual things that do not fade. This does not make your loss small, but it is a reminder that your value and your future are not held in a bank account, but in the hands of a faithful Father who knows what you need.

As you wait on the Lord, please also take these practical steps as soon as you are able:

1. Contact the bank immediately through its official fraud department to report the hacking, ask them to freeze the account and dispute any unauthorized transactions.
2. Change all passwords and enable extra security where possible, and keep records of every call and transaction.
3. Consider filing a report with local law enforcement and with your bank's guidance, as a paper trail can help with recovery.
4. Reach out to trusted family, your pastor or church community to let them know of your immediate needs for food and essentials. Do not carry this alone.

God often provides through His people, and it is no shame to ask for help in a time of crisis. Continue to pray, to do what is honest and diligent with what is in your hands today, and to trust Him for tomorrow. He clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows, and He will not forget you.

May the Lord grant a just resolution with the bank, restore what can be restored, and supply your needs day by day. Keep seeking Him, and keep letting your church know how you are doing so they can walk with you through this.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
