Finances

Thank you for sharing your heart and your family's need so honestly. We have prayed for you and we continue to bring your financial situation before the Lord, asking Him to provide for you according to His wisdom and love.

Scripture shows us that God does see and care about practical needs. We read of how He provided a room with a bed and table for His prophet when he traveled, how He multiplied a small amount of bread and grain so that a hundred men ate and had food left over, and how He multiplied oil for a widow in need. The same God who did those things still knows how to provide today.

At the same time we are reminded not to put God in a box or to think He only works in certain spectacular ways or on our timetable. He works as He desires, and we can leave room for Him to work in His own way and time. The greatest provision He has made is not financial at all, but the provision for our sin and guilt through Jesus Christ alone. The Spirit bears witness to our hearts that forgiveness comes only through the blood of His Son, and there is no other way. That is the greatest miracle of all, that He frees us from the power of sin and brings us into His kingdom of light. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to rest your whole trust there first, because when we belong to Him we become part of His family, with a bond even deeper than our earthly family ties.

Jesus Himself understands what it is to have little in this world. He was born in very humble circumstances, and during His ministry He at one point had to borrow a coin to make a point. The apostle Paul also writes about believers who were going through severe trials and deep poverty, yet out of the abundance of their joy they gave generously to help other believers in need. Their example reminds us that even in times of financial pressure, God can give joy, contentment, and a generous heart, and He can use His people to care for one another.

We will not treat faith as a way to use God for financial gain, and we do not want to give you a false promise that God must give a specific amount by a specific date. Instead we pray that He will meet your family's needs as a faithful Father, give you wisdom in stewardship, open doors for honest provision, guard you from anxiety, and above all deepen your trust in Christ who is your true provision.

We pray that the Lord will supply what you need day by day, give you peace as you trust Him, provide opportunities for work and help, and help you experience His presence and the support of His family around you. May He strengthen your faith, keep you from discouragement, and show you His care in both small and large ways, all for His glory.

In Jesus name we ask this, trusting His love and His perfect will for you and your family.
