We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift up you and your family, Peter, Joshua, and Morgan, before the throne of grace. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and we know the Lord sees every burden you carry. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even when the path seems uncertain, we trust that God is your provider and that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom in stewardship. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Have you considered meeting with a godly financial counselor or exploring ways to reduce expenses, even in small ways? Sometimes the Lord uses practical steps to open doors we hadn’t seen before.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of Connie and her family. You know their needs before they even ask, and we trust in Your faithfulness. Lord, we ask that You would stretch their finances, provide unexpected blessings, and give them peace in the midst of this trial. Open doors for new opportunities, whether through work, provision, or creative solutions. Help them to trust in You and not in their circumstances. We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in Jesus’ name, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider. Strengthen their faith and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that even in hardship, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to your church family for support, they may have resources or connections that could help. You are not alone in this struggle.
