Finances

There is nothing wrong with crying out for a financial breakthrough. We hold your request before the throne of grace and ask the Lord to open His hand and supply what you need. But as we pray, we must also remember what kind of God we are bringing our needs to. He is not a merchant who can be bargained with, nor is faith a transaction that obliges Him to act on our schedule. He has made one supreme provision for us already, the forgiveness of sins through the blood of His Son, and that gift proves He will not hold back anything truly good for His children.

It can be tempting to look for a miracle in the way we might look for a product, something dramatic and guaranteed on a certain night. But the Lord does not work that way. He left room for Himself to work as He pleases, even in situations that seem incurable, like leprosy under the law or a completely empty pantry. He still does that today. So do not think your need is too small or your situation too impossible. Cry out to Him, yet hold your expectations loosely, trusting His wisdom to provide in ways you might not anticipate.

At the same time, be careful not to measure God's love for you by the size of your bank account. The deepest miracle He works is freeing us from the power of sin and bringing us into His family. In that family we are often closer to one another than to our own blood relatives who do not yet believe. And we see throughout the New Testament that believers who knew financial hardship still overflowed with joy and gave generously to help poorer brothers and sisters. That kind of provision often comes through the hands of God's people, and He may be asking you to lean on the body of Christ around you.

So we pray for your breakthrough, yes, but we also pray that you would experience the fullness of joy in whatever circumstances He allows. We ask that He would open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in your work, and help you to be faithful with whatever He entrusts to you. And if the answer delays, remember that He Himself knew poverty, born in another man's stable, borrowing a coin to make a point. He is not distant from your struggle. Rest in His one perfect provision for your eternal need, and trust that He who did not spare His own Son will also meet every temporal need according to His riches in glory.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer for God’s miraculous provision over your finances and your family’s needs this year. It is our joy to lift these burdens before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and unfailing love.

If God has already moved in a powerful way—whether through unexpected blessings, open doors, or peace in the waiting—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the breakthrough you’re believing for hasn’t yet come, please know we are still here, ready to stand in agreement with you. Feel free to post this request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, declaring God’s promises over your situation.

May the Lord strengthen your faith as you seek Him, reminding you that He is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider. We pray He surrounds you with His peace, opens your eyes to His faithfulness, and moves mightily on your behalf. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
