We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, yet filled with faith, as we lift up this urgent plea for financial provision. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand on Your Word, declaring that You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should repent. You have spoken, and shall You not do it? You have purposed, and shall it not stand? (Numbers 23:19).
We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22), and we claim that promise now. Lord, we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We pray for a supernatural breakthrough, for divine connections, and for opportunities that will turn this financial struggle around. May Your favor rest upon this family like a shield, and may doors that no man can shut swing wide open before them (Isaiah 22:22).
We also encourage this dear one to examine their ways and test them, to see if there is any area where they may have strayed from Your principles. Have they been faithful in tithes and offerings? Have they sought Your kingdom first, trusting that all these things shall be added unto them? (Matthew 6:33). We pray that they would walk in wisdom, making sound financial decisions, and that they would be good stewards of whatever You entrust to them. Lord, give them the strength to resist the temptation of quick fixes or ungodly solutions, and instead, wait on You with patience and faith.
Father, we ask that You would also provide godly counsel and support for this family. Surround them with believers who can pray with them, encourage them, and even assist them practically if needed. Let them not be ashamed or afraid to seek help, for we are all members of one body, and when one part suffers, we all suffer together (1 Corinthians 12:26).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, that You are already moving on their behalf, and we declare that this year will indeed be a year of divine provision and financial breakthrough. Amen.
