We come before the Lord with you in unity, lifting up your financial needs and trusting in His faithful provision. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise but a declaration of God’s character—He is our Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.
Yet, we must also remember that our trust should not rest in wealth or material abundance, but in the One who holds all things in His hands. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heart’s posture in this season matters—are you seeking His Kingdom above all else? Are you trusting Him even when the bank account feels empty?
We also encourage you to examine your stewardship. Are you honoring God with your finances, even in lack? Proverbs 3:9-10 says, *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* Tithing and giving, even in small measures, are acts of faith that invite God’s blessing. If debt or poor financial choices have played a role in this struggle, we urge you to seek wisdom in managing what He has already entrusted to you. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Seek godly counsel, create a budget, and trust Him to guide you toward financial freedom.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your divine provision over their family. You own the cattle on a thousand hills and store up treasures beyond measure—nothing is too difficult for You. Lord, open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing they cannot contain. Provide for their every need—food, shelter, clothing, and the ability to meet their obligations. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide with integrity and generosity.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or mammon that would seek to oppress them. You are their Provider, and they shall not want. Strengthen their faith to trust You even when the path seems uncertain. Let this season of need draw them closer to You, teaching them to rely not on their own understanding but on Your unfailing love.
We ask for favor in their work, creativity in their efforts, and opportunities that align with Your will. If there are areas where they have misused resources or acted outside Your wisdom, convict them and lead them to repentance. Restore what has been lost or stolen, and multiply their efforts for Your glory.
Most of all, Father, let their heart be fixed on You. May they seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that all else will be added unto them. We declare Your faithfulness over their life, for You have never failed and You never will.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
