We join you in lifting up your financial needs before the Lord, trusting in His promise to provide for His children. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And again in Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in wealth itself, but in the Lord who gives it. Proverbs 30:8-9 warns, *"Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full, deny you, and say, ‘Who is Yahweh?’ or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God."* Our prayer is that God would grant you wisdom in stewardship, contentment in all circumstances, and provision that aligns with His will—not just for comfort, but for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom.
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Are there areas where fear or greed may be taking root? Or perhaps a lack of trust in God’s timing? The Lord calls us to *tithe faithfully* (Malachi 3:10) and to *work heartily, as for the Lord* (Colossians 3:23). If there are debts or financial strongholds, we pray for God’s wisdom to break free from them, for He desires us to owe no one anything except love (Romans 13:8).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this beloved child of Yours, asking for Your divine provision over their family’s financial needs. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and nothing is too difficult for You. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and grant them favor in their labor, that they may glorify You through their stewardship. Break every chain of lack, fear, or mismanagement, and replace it with Your peace and wisdom. May their trust remain steadfast in You alone, not in riches, but in the One who holds all things together.
If there are areas where repentance is needed—whether in stewardship, trust, or priorities—we ask that You convict and lead them into alignment with Your Word. Give them creativity to manage resources well, generosity to bless others, and discernment to recognize Your hand at work. Let this season of need draw them closer to You, that their testimony may be one of faith: *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1).
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Provider, to whom belongs all glory, honor, and power forever. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear brother or sister. The Lord sees your need and is able to do *exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think* (Ephesians 3:20). Keep seeking Him first, and watch how He moves on your behalf. If there are specific debts, expenses, or decisions weighing on you, we encourage you to share them so we may pray with greater precision. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and so are we.
