We join with you in lifting up your financial needs before the Lord, trusting in His faithfulness to provide for His children. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is a promise we can cling to, knowing that our Heavenly Father is aware of every detail of our lives and cares deeply for our well-being.
Yet, we must also remember that God’s provision often comes through wisdom, diligence, and stewardship. Proverbs 13:11 tells us, *"Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles, but he who gathers by labor increases it."* And in Proverbs 22:29, we read, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men."* If there are areas where you can seek better employment, improve your skills, or manage resources more wisely, we encourage you to do so, trusting that God will guide and bless your efforts.
We also recognize that financial struggles can sometimes reveal deeper areas of trust and dependence on God. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* May this season draw you closer to Him, aligning your heart with His will as you seek His Kingdom above all else.
At the same time, we must examine our hearts for any areas of greed, selfishness, or misplaced trust in wealth rather than in God. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* Let us always remember that our true treasure is in Christ, and our contentment must rest in Him alone (Hebrews 13:5).
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our ### and their family to You. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Meet every financial need according to Your riches in glory, and grant them wisdom to steward what You provide with integrity and generosity.
Father, if there are areas where they have not trusted You fully, or where fear and anxiety have taken root, we ask that You would replace those burdens with Your perfect peace. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them as they walk in obedience.
We rebuke any spirit of lack, poverty, or fear that may be attempting to take hold, and we declare that Your abundance is their portion. Guide them to opportunities, favor, and divine connections that will bring about Your miraculous provision. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just for their sake, but so that others may see and glorify Your name.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life abundantly. Amen.
