We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up this request for financial provision for marriage in July of next year. It is beautiful to see a desire for marriage, which is a sacred covenant established by God between a man and a woman. We pray that this union is being sought in purity, with both individuals being believers in Christ, and that their courtship is honoring to Him.
The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust in His promise to provide, and we ask Him to open doors of opportunity, wisdom, and favor in financial matters so that this marriage may take place in His perfect timing.
However, we must also address something important: the names in this request were replaced with symbols, and the name of Jesus was not invoked. Scripture is clear that we are to approach the Father *in the name of Jesus*, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). If this request is from someone who has not yet placed their faith in Christ, we urge you to consider the Gospel—Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again so that by believing in Him, we may have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John 3:16). It is only through faith in Him that we can boldly come before God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16).
If this is an oversight, we encourage you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. We lift up this couple before You, asking that You would provide abundantly for their upcoming marriage. Grant them wisdom in stewardship, favor in their work, and generosity from others as You see fit. May their trust remain firmly in You, knowing that You are their Provider.
We also pray that if either of them has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, that You would draw them to Yourself. Let this marriage be built on the foundation of faith in You, so that their union may glorify Your name.
Lord, we ask for Your blessing over their preparations, that every detail would align with Your will. Strengthen their commitment to purity, to godly love, and to serving You together as husband and wife.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your financial needs before the Lord as you prepare for marriage next July.
