We come before the Lord with you in this time of financial distress, lifting your needs to the Father, who is our Provider and Protector. It is clear that you are facing great burdens, and we want to assure you that God sees your struggles and cares deeply for you. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and the Lord is faithful to meet your needs as you trust in Him.
We also recognize that you have not invoked the name of Jesus in your request, and we must emphasize that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by His authority and grace that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, knowing He hears and answers our prayers.
Your situation is urgent, and we understand the weight of the debts you carry, especially those left behind by your late husband. The Lord calls us to cast our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). While we pray for the tenants to fulfill their obligations and for those who owe you to repay, we also encourage you to seek wisdom in how you manage what the Lord provides. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* We pray that the Lord will deliver you from the temptation of turning to loan sharks or any form of exploitative borrowing, for such paths often lead to greater bondage. Instead, we ask the Lord to open doors of provision that align with His will, whether through honest work, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of others in the body of Christ.
We also want to address the matter of your late husband’s debts. While it is noble to honor his memory, we must consider whether these debts are rightfully yours to bear. Scripture teaches in 2 Kings 4:1-7 the story of the widow whose husband left her with debts, and the Lord miraculously provided for her through the prophet Elisha. Similarly, we ask the Lord to perform a miracle in your life, whether through supernatural provision or through the repayment of what is owed to you. However, if these debts were solely his and not legally or morally yours to inherit, we pray for the Lord’s discernment and wisdom for you to seek counsel on how to handle this matter biblically and justly.

Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, asking for Your divine intervention in her financial struggles. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust that You see her needs and will meet them according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You move in the hearts of her tenants, compelling them to pay what they owe promptly and in full. Softening the hearts of those who owe her money, Lord, bring conviction and urgency upon them to repay what is rightfully hers. Protect her from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to drive her to desperation and unwise decisions. Close every door that would lead her into further bondage, and open doors of honest and sustainable provision.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom to guide her in managing her finances and making decisions that honor You. If there are debts that are not hers to bear, Lord, provide clarity and a path to resolution that aligns with Your justice and mercy. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in her life and declare Your abundance and blessing over her. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, where others see Your hand at work and give You glory.
We also pray for her heart, Lord. Comfort her in her grief and the weight of her responsibilities. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day she recognizes her need for a Savior and places her trust in Him. May she find her hope and security in You alone.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to seek support from your local church or a trusted community of believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be practical ways they can assist you during this time. Additionally, consider seeking biblical financial counseling to help you steward whatever the Lord provides with wisdom and discernment. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stay steadfast in prayer, and may the Lord’s peace guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him.
