We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for financial provision and the safe return of lost property. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all things, and every good gift comes from Your hand. We ask that You move mightily on behalf of this situation, softening the hearts of the renters to fulfill their obligations and pay what is owed. Your Word declares in Romans 13:7, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." Lord, we pray that this principle would be honored, and that the renters would act with integrity and responsibility.
We also lift up the lost purse, asking for Your divine intervention. Proverbs 2:8 says, "He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints." Lord, we trust in Your protection and ask that You would either guide the purse back to its rightful owner or touch the heart of the one who may have taken it, leading them to return it unharmed. If there is any wrongdoing involved, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and ask for conviction and repentance.
Father, we also want to address the heart behind this request. We know that financial struggles can bring anxiety and fear, but Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage trust in You, not in circumstances or people. Let this trial draw closer to You, seeking Your will and provision above all else.
We pray for wisdom in managing finances and for discernment in all dealings. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or lack of trust in God’s provision, we ask for a heart of repentance and surrender. Help to remember that our security is in You alone, not in money or possessions. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray for restoration, provision, and peace. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
