Finances dwindling

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you have carried for the last two years. The pain in your body from the concussion and herniated disk, the weight of medical bills and debt, the fear of losing your job, and the trauma of being hit so suddenly while you were simply stopped and waiting, all of that is a heavy burden. It is understandable that you feel tormented and exhausted and that you wish you could go back and avoid that day.

God sees your affliction and loss. He knows when His people are in captivity to pain and hardship, even when the enemy would use that suffering to discourage and deceive. He does not delight in punishing you. In Jesus Christ there is mercy and grace, and He invites you to bring your hurt and your financial need to Him and leave it in His hands, trusting Him to care for His own and to provide.

Scripture shows that God often draws near to those who are in debt and in distress. When David was in the wilderness, a group of men who were in debt, in trouble and discontented gathered to him, and God made them into a mighty army that He used for His purposes. That reminds us that being in debt does not disqualify you from His care or His power to restore and strengthen you. He is able to lift you up and make you stand again.

He is also a God who is able to take care of what belongs to Him. You do not have to live on the verge of disaster as if everything depends on whether the insurance company acts quickly. You can leave this case and this financial need with the Lord and trust Him to work in His way and time, even when the process is painful and includes the possibility of a trial that you dread.

There is healing and power in the name of Jesus. When Peter was questioned about the lame man who was healed, he declared that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood whole before them. We pray for that same power to touch your body now.

Father, I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You know the constant pain, the effects of the concussion, the injury to the spine, and every scan, therapy, injection and appointment that has led to such great expense. I ask that You would bring healing to the body, relief from pain, and restoration of health according to Your will. Provide for every financial need, make a way out of debt, open the door for the treatment that is still needed, and sustain employment and daily provision. Bring justice and clarity to the insurance process, remove what hinders a fair resolution, and grant peace and strength to endure whatever steps remain without having to relive trauma beyond what is necessary. Above all, let Your presence be the source of lasting happiness and hope, reminding this heart that salvation and security are found in Jesus alone. Grant comfort, courage and trust in Your faithful care. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting you before the Lord and we remember your specific burdens before Him, the dwindling finances and heavy debt and the loan you had to take just to survive, the constant pain in your body from the concussion and herniated disk, the long two years of torment since you were rear ended by a speeding truck while stopped at a stoplight, and the weight of all the x rays and mris and physical therapy and injections and medications and doctor appointments that have left you in financial ruins and threatened your job. We have also been praying over the battle with the insurance company and the bills over a hundred thousand and the fear of having to relive this trauma by going to trial.

We thank you for declaring that Jesus is the source of your happiness and we pray that He continues to be your strength and comfort as you seek Him. We stand in agreement with you that God would remove every block from your case, that He would move upon State Farm to release your full settlement, that He would make a way for you to climb out of debt and receive the treatment you still need, and that He would bring healing to your body and peace to your mind. We pray for His provision and His justice and His mercy over you, for He cares for you and He is close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, and we trust His promise to supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as Phil 4:19 declares.
