Finances dwindling

Jesus thank you for being the sources of my happiness. I love you. Jesus since my car accident my finances have been in ruins. I have gone into debt and taken out a loan just to keep surviving. I didn't cause my accident yet it has been tormenting me for two years. I am left in constant pain in my body, still healing from a concussion, and a herniated disk. All the x ray scans, mris, physical therapy, injections, medications l, and doctor apts have left me in financial ruins and with a near job loss. I was reared ended by a speeding truck while stopped at a stoplight, I was so focused on the light. I never seen the bad driver coming but felt all of the impact of the accident. I am left in debt and pain. Then the insurance is refusing to pay for my bills that are over hundred thousand and counting. Please dont punish me any further to relive this trauma and go to trial. I mentally and physically cant take it. If I could go back to that day of my accident. I would've never gone to work and stayed home to avoid this devastation. My life hasn't been the same since the accident two years ago. Please remove the blocks from my case and make State Farm pay the full amount for my accident. I pray I am able to climb out of debt again and get the treatment that I need from having to deal with this terrible accident. I need you to please release my full settlement from the insurance company. Thank you.

We have heard your heart and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord in Jesus' name. We thank you for beginning with thanksgiving and for declaring Jesus as the source of your happiness, for He is near to you in this long season of pain and financial distress. We are so sorry for what you have endured these two years since being rear ended while stopped at that light through no fault of your own. To carry constant bodily pain from a concussion and herniated disk, to face endless scans, MRIs, therapy, injections and doctor appointments, and to then be weighed down by debt, loans, and the threat of job loss is truly overwhelming. We grieve with you over the trauma you have relived and the injustice you feel as the insurance company refuses to pay.

We want to gently speak to something you shared, when you asked Jesus not to punish you any further. Our Father is not punishing you for this accident. You did nothing to cause this and God is not against you. He is compassionate and close to you in your suffering. Psalm 34:18 tells us The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. What you are experiencing is the painful consequence of living in a fallen world where others act carelessly, not a punishment from your loving Father. He sees every bill, every sleepless night, every moment of pain, and He cares deeply.

We also hear your wish to go back to that day and stay home. It is understandable to feel that way, but we encourage you to rest in the truth that God was with you even then and He is able to work even this terrible harm for good as you trust Him. Romans 8:28 reminds us that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. And Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

We bring your finances, your body, and your case before the Lord together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear one who is weary and weighed down. Lord, You see the pain that lingers in the body, the head injury still healing, the disk that causes constant hurt, and the trauma that replays in the mind. We ask for Your healing touch, for wisdom for every doctor and therapist, and for relief that only You can give. We pray for rest for the mind and peace that guards the heart, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father, we also bring the financial ruins and the heavy debt before You. Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask You to provide, to open doors for provision, to protect employment, and to grant wisdom in stewardship of every resource and loan. We pray for justice concerning this insurance case. You are a God of justice who sees when the vulnerable are wronged. We ask that You remove any unjust block, that You move upon those at ### and upon every decision maker to do what is right and just, and if it is Your will, to release the full settlement needed to cover these bills and the treatment still required without the further trauma of a trial. Yet above all we pray Your will be done, and that You would grant strength and courage if a trial is required, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

Lord, we cast this entire burden on You, for 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Replace anxiety and despair with hope, and help our dear one to feel Your presence as the true source of happiness and strength each day. Restore what has been lost, bring complete healing in Your timing, and lead out of debt into a place of stability so that continued care can be received. We thank You that we have access to You only through Jesus, and we trust in His name for salvation, healing, and provision. We pray all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to stay connected to a local body of believers who can support you practically and prayerfully, and to seek wise and godly counsel for both your medical and legal needs. Keep bringing every worry to Him, for He hears you, He loves you, and He will not forsake you. Matthew 11:28 invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Lean into that rest today, even as we continue to stand with you in prayer for healing, for justice, and for financial restoration.

We hear how much these two years have cost you, and we are so sorry you are carrying this. To be hit while you were simply stopped at a light, to have done nothing wrong and still be left with constant pain, a concussion and herniated disk that are still healing, and debt that keeps growing, is a heavy burden. It makes sense that the thought of reliving it all in a trial feels like more than you can bear, and that you find yourself wishing you had just stayed home that day.

Thank you for sharing your love for Jesus even in this hard place. This long financial and physical strain is not a punishment from Him. He sees both the pain in your body and the pressure of bills and insurance paperwork that has followed the accident.

When everything feels tangled, it can help to have a little breathing room and clear support. One gentle next step could be to gather your medical bills, insurance letters, and any legal correspondence in one place and ask a trusted person to sit with you to review them, so you do not have to hold it all alone. If you have not already, please keep close contact with your medical providers about the ongoing pain and concussion recovery, and with a trusted legal aid or advocate who can explain your options regarding the settlement and what a next step might actually involve, without pressure to decide right away. A pastor or financial counselor at your church may also help you think through the debt and work concerns.

We pray for you now. Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You know the pain that lingers, the bills that feel overwhelming, and the weariness at the thought of more hearings. Please bring wisdom for each decision, provision for daily needs, healing and good care for the body, and peace that guards the heart. Give rest from reliving the trauma and guide those handling this case toward what is just and right. Amen.

Your long and painful trial has been laid before the Lord and we have brought your burden to the throne of grace with tender sympathy. For ### years you have carried not only the pain of body, the concussion and the herniated disk, the weariness of scans and therapies and medications, but also the heavier weight of debt and the fear of trial and the sorrow that life has not been the same since that moment when you were struck from behind while waiting at the light. The Lord sees that you did not seek this affliction and that you have felt all its impact, and He is not unmindful of your tears.

We do not believe the Lord is punishing you. Our great Physician comes not with lancet and knife to wound afresh, but with healing balm from Calvary. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When He dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He who feeds the sparrows will not pass you over in His providence but will furnish you with what you need.

We have prayed for you in this manner, that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the true source of happiness and the fountain of all mercy, would be your comfort and strength in this season of want and pain.

We have asked that He would lay His healing hand upon your body, to ease the constant pain, to restore what has been injured, and in His own time and way to perfect that healing which His grace has begun.

We have asked that He would be your provider in financial ruins, that He would give you wisdom for every debt and loan and bill that now overwhelms you, that He would open a way for honest provision and for the treatment you still require, and that He would guard your employment and daily bread.

We have asked that He would give you peace in the matter of the insurance and the courts, that justice would be done without needless torment, that if it be His will the blocks before you would be removed and what is right and due for your care would be rendered, and that whether by settlement or by trial He would grant you counsel, clarity, and a quiet mind to endure what you must face, without being made to relive your trauma beyond what is necessary.

We have asked also that He would lift from you the weary thought of going back to that day, and instead set your hope forward upon Him who makes all things new, who can bring good even out of great evil, and who keeps your life in His hands.

Take your debt and your pain and your fear and lay them at the foot of the cross where the record of our greater debt was nailed. Seek first His pardon and His presence, for there is healing in that contact when Christ takes us by the hand and lifts us up. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and wait upon Him in prayer and in the hearing of His Word, for faith comes by hearing and healing is joined to His teaching.

May the Lord grant you rest from this fever of unrest, a renewed body, a supplied need, and a heart kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him.
