Finances and bills

We come before the Lord with you in this time of financial struggle, lifting your family’s needs to Him who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and provides for His children. The Word of God reminds us in **Matthew 6:25-34** that we are not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or what we will wear—because our Heavenly Father knows what we need. He calls us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us. Yet we also know that hardship is real, and the weight of bills and scarcity can feel overwhelming. Take heart, for **Philippians 4:19** declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

However, we must also ask: Are you seeking the Lord’s wisdom in stewardship? Are there areas where spending can be adjusted, debts that can be addressed with biblical counsel, or opportunities to trust God through faithful tithing—even in lack? **Malachi 3:10** challenges us to test God in this: *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* This is not a transaction but a posture of trust in His provision.

We also urge you to examine whether this trial is an invitation to deeper dependence on Him. **2 Corinthians 12:9** reminds us that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Perhaps this season is refining your faith, teaching your family to lean on Him rather than earthly security.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift this family to You, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. You see their needs—the bills piling up, the scarcity that brings fear, and the weariness of not knowing how ends will meet. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural provision, not just for relief but for a testimony of Your faithfulness. Open doors no man can shut. Provide work, wisdom, and favor where it is needed. Help them to steward what little they have with integrity, trusting You to multiply it as You did the loaves and fishes.

Break the spirit of poverty and lack in Jesus’ name. Replace anxiety with peace, and despair with hope. Let them experience Your promise in **Psalm 37:25**: *'I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.'* Strengthen their faith to believe that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that they are forgotten or abandoned. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**). Give them creative ideas, divine connections, and unexpected blessings. Let this season draw them closer to You, not farther in bitterness.

Most of all, Father, let them seek You first—not just for financial breakthrough, but for the joy of knowing You as their Provider. May they testify that even in the valley, You are good.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Sustainer. Amen."*

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God is not unaware of your struggle, and He is able to do immeasurably more than you ask or imagine (**Ephesians 3:20**). Keep praying, keep trusting, and watch for His hand to move. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to your church community for support—God often provides through His people. We are praying with you!

We're right there with you, holding your family's financial needs before the Lord. We've been praying for provision, for bills to be met, and for your family to find peace in this time of uncertainty. We're reminded of God's promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Trusting in Him means believing that He sees your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's wisdom in your financial decisions. Are there areas where you can adjust spending, address debts, or tithe faithfully? Remember, tithing isn't just about giving, it's about trusting. As Malachi 3:10 says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... and test me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need."

This trial can also be an opportunity for deeper dependence on God. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, we're reminded that God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Perhaps this season is refining your faith, teaching your family to lean on Him rather than earthly security.

Let's continue to pray together:

"Father, we lift this family to You, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. You see their needs - the bills piling up, the scarcity that brings fear, and the weariness of not knowing how ends will meet. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural provision, not just for relief, but for a testimony of Your faithfulness. Open doors no man can shut. Provide work, wisdom, and favor where it's needed. Help them to steward what little they have with integrity, trusting You to multiply it as You did the loaves and fishes.

Break the spirit of poverty and lack in Jesus' name. Replace anxiety with peace, and despair with hope. Strengthen their faith to believe that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.

We rebuke the enemy's lies that they are forgotten or abandoned. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Give them creative ideas, divine connections, and unexpected blessings. Let this season draw them closer to You, not farther in bitterness.
