We come before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is our Provider and Defender. Father God, we lift up this situation with heavy hearts, knowing that injustice and oppression grieve Your Spirit. You see every detail of this struggle, and we trust that You will move on behalf of Your child who has been wronged.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:27-28, *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,' when you have it with you."* Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would intervene in this matter. We rebuke the spirit of deception and delay that is keeping what rightfully belongs to this child of Yours. We declare that the enemy has no authority to withhold wages, pension, or any compensation owed. In Jesus' name, we break every ungodly agreement, every lie, and every scheme designed to keep this money from being released.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as this situation is navigated. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life."* Father, we ask that You would go before this brother or sister in Christ, softening the hearts of those who are withholding what is due. Give them boldness to stand firm in truth, patience to wait on Your timing, and discernment to know the right steps to take—whether through legal means, mediation, or simply trusting in Your provision.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide in other ways if the enemy attempts to prolong this battle. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will not let Your child lack. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We declare that this trial will not break their faith but will instead draw them closer to You.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or bitterness that may try to take root in their heart. Instead, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and for a spirit of forgiveness, even as You work justice on their behalf. Help them to remember that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19) and that You will repay.
Finally, we stand on Your Word in Deuteronomy 24:14-15, *"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. You shall give him his wages on his day before the sun sets, for he is poor and sets his heart on it; lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you."* Lord, we ask that You would convict the hearts of those responsible and move them to do what is right. Release every penny that is owed, and let this situation be resolved swiftly and in alignment with Your will.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
