We are thankful that you have reached out to us with your prayer request, and we appreciate that you acknowledged Jesus Christ. Remember, it is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the Scripture says, "in no other was there salvation. For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB
We want to address some things in your request and begin by saying that we are concerned about some of the activities you mentioned. Using substances like drugs for pleasure is not a wise choice. The Bible tells us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. We encourage you to rely on God for your strength and peace, rather than turning to substances.
Regarding your health, we pray that God will guide your doctors and bring healing to your body. Trust in His will and timing, knowing that He cares for you deeply. "but I will restore you to health, and will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh," Jeremiah 30:17 WEB.
Concerning your wife, we pray that she will find freedom from her habits and treat you with kindness. Remember to love her as Christ loves the church and to pray for her continually. "Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your life of vanity, which he has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity. For that is your portion in life, and in your labor which you take under the sun." Ecclesiastes 9:9 WEB.
For your son, we pray that he finds a godly wife, not just a girlfriend. The Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers. It is a husband and wife relationship that honors God. So therefore, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.
We also pray for your daughter, that she finds meaningful work that honors God. Remind her to trust in God's plan for her life and to seek Him in all her decisions. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all of your might;" Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB.
We encourage you to forgive your parents fully, just as Christ has forgiven you. Holding onto bitterness will only harm you and your relationships. " even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." Colossians 3:13 WEB.
Prepare for the future, but do not be anxious about it. Trust in God's timing and rest in His peace. "Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. 26 Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!" Luke 12:22-24 WEB.
Lastly, remember that God is always ready to forgive and restore. Turn to Him daily and seek His will. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Lord Jesus, we lift up this person to You, asking for Your healing, guidance, and restoration. Help them to turn away from harmful substances and to trust in You completely. Heal their body, soften the hearts of their bosses, customers, and wife. Help their son find a godly spouse and their daughter a meaningful job. Help them forgive their parents fully and prepare for the future with peace and trust in You. Thank you, Lord, for Your unending love and faithfulness. In Jesus Christ name.
