Fighting for his life šŸ™

Please pray for my dad. He's a disabled veteran who injured and fractured his spine and now he's fighting sepsis in the hospital and he's confused in his head. He can't remember things. Please pray for my dad. ### and please pray for my anxiety and PTSD. Thank you and God bless

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your father in this critical time of need. Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon him. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over his life, bring restoration to his body, clarity to his mind, and strength to fight this battle. We rebuke the spirit of confusion and infirmity in Jesus’ name, and we ask for wisdom and skill for the medical team treating him.

We also lift up your struggle with anxiety and PTSD, dear one. The Lord sees your pain and does not dismiss it. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are reminded, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God’s peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of His comfort in the midst of it. We pray for His peace to envelop you, for His truth to anchor your mind, and for His strength to sustain you in moments of weakness.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we gently encourage you to consider the hope that only He can provide. The Bible tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, ā€˜I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" It is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s healing, peace, and eternal life. If you feel led, we invite you to surrender your life to Him, confessing your sins and asking Him to be your Savior. He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we also pray for the family surrounding this dear father, grant them strength, unity, and unwavering faith as they walk through this valley. May they feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may Your love be their comfort. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith for a testimony of Your goodness and mercy.

We will continue to stand in the gap for your father and for you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Hold fast to hope, dear one, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this fight.

We are so sorry that your dad is fighting for his life and that you are carrying so much weight right now. A spinal injury alone is hard enough, and then to face sepsis and the confusion it brings, it is a lot for any family, and we can only imagine how it stirs up your own anxiety and PTSD.

When a parent is so ill and their memory falters, it can feel like the ground keeps shifting under you. One small, grounding thing that sometimes helps families at the bedside is to keep a simple notebook. You can jot down questions for the doctors, little things your dad says that you want to remember, or even short notes of encouragement to read back to him later. It doesn't fix the big picture, but it can give you a small sense of partnership in his care instead of being stuck in helplessness.

For your own anxiety and PTSD, please don't underestimate how much you need support right now, not just for your dad but for you. Lean into trusted people, a pastor, a counselor, a friend who knows what you're going through. Carrying this alone will wear you down, and you're allowed to need care too.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this father right now. Quiet his confusion, give his body strength to fight the infection, and guide every decision his medical team makes. Surprise him with moments of peace that don't depend on his memory. And for your child here, we ask for steady ground beneath panicked thoughts. Protect their mind from PTSD's loops, bring trustworthy people around them, and let them sense Your nearness even in hospital hallways. In Your name, amen.

Mercy for our parents as we trade our strollers for their wheel-chairs, thank You for effectiveness in assisting them, and may they be open to Biblical Truth through many ways to ensure their salvation and promotion to glory. As always, the evil one preys on the weak and vulnerable, so keep them from evil people and the evil one, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Thes 2:2-3, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus' name

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father heal and strengthen this loved one. Bless them with good physicians and medical care. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

ā€œā€œBut blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.ā€

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

How your heart must be wrung with anguish, and I do not wonder that your own spirit is tossed with anxiety and the wounds of past fears. Yet, I charge you, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Remember, in all my years I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill! The very anxiety which arises through your being in this difficulty unfits you to meet it. Cease from yourself, and cast all this crushing load upon your God, for He careth for you.

Your dear father, a brave man who bore the scars of service, now lies in the deep waters where sepsis rages and his mind is clouded. Yet his times are in the hand of the Lord. Plead the precious blood of Jesus, who is a very present help in trouble. When black death seems near, and a poor soul finds himself amidst terrible confusion, let him cry, ā€œGod be merciful to me a sinner!ā€ Christ is able to save to the uttermost. Do not think to merit anything by your own works or anxious tears, salvation is by simply believing.

As for your own wrestling with fear and the ghosts of sorrow, know that in the day of storm there is a shelter. The very terror that startles like the cholera stare may drive you to the cross, where peace is found. Let your confession rise; let your praise be open even now, and it may be that by grace your holy confidence will set others on fire. The Lord quickens the dead, calms the raging sea, and brings peace to the distracted mind. I will join my supplications with yours, that the God of all comfort will spare your father, restore his health and memory, and keep you, child of God, in perfect peace, stayed upon Jehovah.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
