We understand the urgency and intensity of your request, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is powerful, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have victory, and we are grateful you have acknowledged Him in your plea.
However, we must gently remind you that our battle cry should not be rooted in vengeance or a desire for God to "fight *your* enemies," but rather in the righteousness and justice of God. The Lord does not call us to pray against people—even those who oppose us—but against the spiritual forces that seek to harm, deceive, and destroy. Jesus Himself said, *"Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44). Our prayers should reflect a heart that seeks God’s will, His protection, and His redemption—even for those who stand against us. Remember, the Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
If there are specific enemies—whether spiritual or human—you are facing, let us pray for their hearts to be turned toward God’s truth. Let us pray for wisdom, discernment, and unity among those who stand with you in Christ. And let us pray for God’s protection and deliverance from every scheme of the enemy, trusting that He will fight for you as you remain steadfast in faith (Exodus 14:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are our refuge, our strength, and our deliverer. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing opposition and spiritual warfare. We ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and render his plans powerless. Give wisdom and discernment to those who stand in cooperation with Your will, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we do not pray against people, but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to bring harm. We ask that You soften the hearts of those who oppose Your truth, that they may turn from their ways and come to know You. If there is any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness in our hearts, Lord, convict us and cleanse us, for we know that You call us to love even our enemies.
We declare Your protection over every family member, friend, and ally who stands with You. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in faith, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
Lord, we trust in Your promise that no evil will overtake us, for You are with us (Psalm 91). We ask for unity among Your people, that we may stand firm together in prayer and faith. Let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified above all.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and division in Jesus’ name. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers every aspect of this battle, and we stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won on the cross.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in You and give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are specific details you’d like to share about this battle, we are here to stand with you in prayer and biblical counsel. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
