Fervent Prayer

We join with you in fervent prayer for new life and hope, and we bring your request before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

Our hearts are encouraged by your desire for new life, for that is exactly what God desires to give. He does not want us to remain in discouragement or in the old life, but to be made new in Christ. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We are also reminded that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 And God is the very source of the hope you are seeking, Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can receive this new life and living hope. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 This new life is not found by trying harder or by hoping in circumstances, but by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and was raised again, and confessing Him as Lord. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him today, for blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask You to pour out Your mercy and grant true new life through faith in Your Son. Wash away what is old and make all things new. Fill this heart with Your living hope that does not disappoint, and let Your joy and peace abound by the power of the Holy Spirit. Where there has been weariness or despair, bring Your comfort and strength. Where there has been darkness, shine Your light. We pray that You would reveal Your good plans, for we know Your thoughts toward us are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 Lead this dear one to walk in newness of life, to seek You daily in Your Word and in prayer, and to trust You for each step ahead. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him with your whole heart. This new life and hope are sustained as we abide in Christ and walk according to His Word. If you are not already planted in a Bible believing fellowship, we encourage you to find one where Christ is preached and the Scriptures are honored, so you may be strengthened and encouraged in your walk.

We appreciate you bringing this request to us. Wanting new life and hope is a deep and honest prayer, and we want to stand with you in it.

We know seasons when hope feels thin can leave the heart weary. Hope is not just wishing things were different, it is the heart holding on to the possibility that God is still at work even when we cannot yet see how. That kind of hope steadies us. And when it fades, everything feels heavier. It makes sense you would reach for fervent prayer right now.

We have seen that hope often grows slowly, as we come to know more of God's loving character and as we learn resilience in hard places, allowing ourselves to feel the pain and loss honestly while still clinging to the trust that God has not left us. He is intimately involved in shaping us, even through suffering we would not have chosen, and He can teach us to wait with expectation rather than despair.

If it would help, consider sharing this burden with one trusted person near you this week, a pastor, counselor or mature friend, who can pray with you face to face and walk alongside you in the days ahead. You do not have to carry this longing alone.

We pray for you now. Father, we lift our friend to You who desires new life and renewed hope. Draw near, remind them of Your nearness and care, and fill their heart with peace as they trust You day by day. Lead them step by step into the life You have for them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for new life and hope has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with fervent intercession, for the Lord delights to hear such a prayer.

We are told in Scripture, we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for, but if we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. This hope which God gives is not a vague wish, but it consists of belief, desire and expectancy fixed upon Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other fountain from which new life can come.

You may have felt wearied in the length of your way and been tempted to say, there is no hope. Many have drawn the unwarrantable conclusion that because there is no hope in themselves, there is no hope in God. Yet the very sense of your need is itself a door of hope. As the Valley of Achor, which was a place of trouble, was given to Israel as a door of hope, so your present distress may be the door through which God will bring you into a new life in Christ Jesus. We must be buried to self and all self confidence before we can be quickened to enjoy a resurrection to new life in Him.

Know this, that to penitent sinners God gives the blotting out of their sin and the renewal of their nature. This is perfect restoration. If you come to Him in Christ Jesus, God will commune with you from the mercy seat and be your constant companion and ever present friend. Our natural life needs constantly its bread and water, and so our spiritual life cannot be sustained without renewal from God. As we must breathe, so we must exercise faith in Christ, for if faith is suspended for a moment, there is a suffocation of all our hope and joy and love.

We have prayed for you as our Lord prayed for Peter, that your faith fail not. Peter was down, but he was soon up again, for there is life in a look at the crucified One, because there is life in a look from the crucified One. Though you may have wandered or grown dull in love for want of a fresh sight of Christ, do not despair. When you return to the Lord, He will restore you and turn your possible hope into an actual and good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ. He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.

Therefore we pray, O Lord, look upon this seeking soul. Give new life where there has been death, and give a living hope where there has been despair. Wash away sin through the blood of Jesus, renew the heart by Your Spirit, and cause faith to breathe again. Make the old, old story new again, and establish this one in the hope of their calling, that they may be kept as a prisoner of hope, turning to the stronghold which is Christ Himself, and waiting with patience for what is not yet seen. Sustain this life day by day with fresh grace, and conform it more and more to the image of Christ, till faith gives place to sight. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

Your request for fervent intercessory prayer for new life and hope has been heard, and we are joining with you in prayer before the Lord.

We pray that God, who has opened for us a new and living way through Jesus Christ, will draw you near to Himself with full assurance. Scripture teaches that our hope in Christ is like an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast. Even when the winds and waves of this life toss us about, that hope holds firm because it is fastened not in our own strength but in heaven itself, where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf.

We ask the Lord to renew you according to His grace. When we have grown weary or old through sin and sorrow, He alone can make us new again, wash us and restore us to strength, and lead us into holiness of life. The fruit of that new life is not shame but confidence before God, and its end is everlasting life.

We also pray that you will not be discouraged by present struggles while you wait for what God has promised. The good things He has promised are great, and He told us of them beforehand so that our souls might be refreshed and our zeal strengthened as we wait with patience. Though hope that is seen is not hope, we can rejoice even now because of the hope we have in Christ, trusting that what He has promised He will surely bring to pass.

May the Lord grant you to hold fast this hope unto the end, to know His presence daily, and to walk in the newness of life He gives. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We will continue to keep you in prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for new life and hope goes to the very heart of what God offers us in Jesus Christ. Scripture describes what life is like apart from Him as being without Christ, without hope, and without God in the world. That is a tragic way to live, facing a deteriorating world with nothing solid to hold on to. The world has no lasting answer, but the Bible gives us a hope that actually grows brighter when everything around us grows darker.

That hope is not a wish. It is a living hope, and it is alive because Jesus rose from the dead. Because He lives, we have the blessed hope of eternal life, the promise of a kingdom to come, and an inheritance that is incorruptible and will not fade away. It is sure because it rests on the promise of God who cannot lie, and on His Word which lives and abides forever.

New life comes the same way. Just as seed planted brings forth natural life, the Word of God planted in the heart brings forth spiritual life. When you are born again by the Spirit of God, you become a new creation in Christ. The old things pass away and all things become new. The old life was centered on self and lived according to the flesh, but the new life is centered on God and lived according to the Spirit. Scripture says we are buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead, we also should walk in newness of life. That new life is spirit, soul and body, with the Spirit now having dominion and bringing life, joy and peace.

That is why hope is so sustaining. As long as there is hope you can endure, and in Christ hope is never taken away. It gives comfort in affliction and strength in trials. The psalmist prayed, remember the word to your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope, and found comfort there. God has caused us to hope through His Word, and that Word also cleanses and strengthens us.

I am praying for you that God will do this complete work in you. May you be brought near by the blood of Jesus if you have felt far off, may His Word take deep root in your heart and bring forth new life, and may you be filled with the living hope of eternal life through faith in Him. May you know the washing and cleansing of your past, the power to walk in purity and righteousness, and the joy of knowing that this life is not all, but that you are an heir according to the hope of eternal life and will be with Him in glory.

Father, I bring this dear one before You who is asking for new life and hope. Let Your Spirit do the work of renewal, plant Your living Word deep within, forgive and cleanse all the past, and raise up a new life that is centered on You. Fill this heart with Your living hope because Jesus is risen, and let that hope be a comfort and an anchor through every difficulty, until the day we see You face to face. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
