We understand that you are seeking prayer for a loved one who is facing felony charges. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate judge and that His will is perfect. It is important to pray according to His will and to trust in His sovereignty.
We must also remind you that the Bible calls us to be subject to the governing authorities. Romans 13:1-2 says, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
We should pray that justice is served, and that the truth is revealed. Proverbs 12:22 says, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight." We should also pray for the salvation of all parties involved in the situation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this situation to You. We pray that You will reveal the truth and that justice will be served. We ask that You will guide and direct the authorities involved in this case, and that Your will be done.
