Feet, swelling, and exhausted

Beloved of All
So warm Lord, just when it was getting cooler and now they’re predicting hotter weather next week. Please call us down miraculously, so many issues too overwhelming. Now the freezer gasket lining is lifting off making freezing malfunction and just ago bought the fridge couple 2-3 years. Please help in all of this. Jesus now my back hurts and we have so much work to do in a miracle turn around and everything please amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of physical and emotional strain, lifting up your weary body, your swollen feet, and the exhaustion that weighs so heavily upon you. The heat and the burdens of life can feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is a God of miracles, strength, and provision. He sees your struggles, and He cares deeply for you.

First, let us address the name by which we approach the Father—you have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, and we rejoice in this! It is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His mighty name that we find hope and help. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Jesus is our intercessor, and He is faithful to hear and answer our cries.

We also recognize the physical toll this season is taking on you—swollen feet, back pain, and exhaustion are not to be ignored. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we must steward it well. Have you sought medical attention for these symptoms? Chronic swelling and pain can sometimes indicate underlying issues that require care. We encourage you to seek wisdom in this, for God often uses medical professionals as instruments of His healing. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). Let us not neglect the practical steps God may be leading us to take even as we trust Him for miracles.

The heat and the malfunctioning freezer are reminders that our world is fallen and subject to frustration—but our God is not limited by these things. He is the God who multiplied loaves and fishes, who turned water into wine, and who sustains all things by the word of His power. We pray that He would miraculously intervene in these practical needs, whether by repairing the freezer, providing the means to fix it, or cooling the air around you. *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened"* (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB). Let us ask with faith, trusting that He hears and will act according to His perfect will.

Yet even as we pray for relief, we must also examine our hearts. Are we trusting in His sovereignty even when the answers tarry? Are we surrendering our anxiety to Him, or are we allowing the weight of "so much work" to steal our peace? Jesus tells us, *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). The work ahead may seem impossible, but with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). He does not call us to rely on our own strength but to depend entirely on Him.

Let us also consider whether the "miracle turnaround" we seek is aligned with His will. Sometimes, God’s miracles come in the form of endurance, wisdom, or a change of perspective rather than an immediate removal of hardship. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his "thorn in the flesh" to be removed, but God’s answer was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Could it be that God is inviting you to lean more deeply on Him in this season? His strength is perfected in our weakness, and His peace guards our hearts even in trials (Philippians 4:6-7).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is weary in body and spirit. Lord, You are the God who sees her swelling feet, her aching back, and the exhaustion that threatens to overwhelm her. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through her body, restoring strength and vitality. You knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell, every need. Let Your healing power manifest in her, Lord, in Jesus’ name.

We lift up the practical burdens—the heat, the malfunctioning freezer, the weight of responsibilities that feel too heavy to bear. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides. We ask for Your miraculous intervention in these things, whether through supernatural repair, provision, or wisdom to navigate these challenges. Let her see Your hand at work in tangible ways, Lord, so that her faith may be strengthened.

Father, we also pray for her heart. Replace her anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast every care upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). When the work ahead seems impossible, remind her that You are the God of the impossible. Renew her mind with Your truth and fill her with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

Lord, if there is any area where she has not fully surrendered to You—whether in trust, in practical steps, or in aligning her desires with Your will—we ask that You would gently convict and lead her. Your ways are higher than ours, and Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Give her the grace to walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult.

We rebuke the spirit of overwhelm and discouragement in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, Lord, as You carry her through this season.

Finally, Father, we thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May she feel Your presence tangibly in these moments, and may she rise up with renewed strength, like an eagle mounting up on wings (Isaiah 40:31).

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling the heat and the weight of your burdens. We see your swollen feet, your aching back, and the exhaustion that's been hanging heavy on your shoulders. It's like the weather outside, isn't it? Just when it was starting to cool down, the forecast changes, and now we're bracing for another hot spell. And on top of all that, your freezer's on the fritz, and you've got so much work to do.

But you know what? We serve a God who's not limited by heatwaves or malfunctioning appliances. He's the God who parted the Red Sea, who calmed the stormy waters, and who turned water into wine. He's the God who sees you, who knows your needs, and who cares deeply about every detail of your life.

So, let's pray. Let's ask Him to touch your body, to bring healing and strength. Let's ask Him to intervene in the practical things, to fix the freezer or provide the means to do so, or even to cool the air around you. Let's ask Him to give you wisdom and energy to tackle the work ahead.

But more than that, let's ask Him to fill you with His peace. To help you trust in His sovereignty, even when the answers aren't coming as quickly as you'd like. Let's ask Him to help you surrender your anxiety to Him, to let go of the worry and the fear, and to rest in His love.

And let's ask Him to show you where you might be holding back, where you might not be fully trusting or fully surrendered. Because sometimes, His miracles come in the form of endurance, wisdom, or a change of perspective. Sometimes, He's inviting us to lean on Him more deeply, to find our strength in our weakness.

So, let's pray together, dear friend. Let's lift you up to our Father, and trust that He hears us, that He sees you, and that He's at work. Because He is faithful, and He loves you more than you could ever know.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
