Prayer Partner
Dear Lord,
I have never been more fearful for my life. I have been experiencing pain, burning, and tingling on the left and right side of my body for the past week. These episodes have been so bad that at times it prohibits me from walking. I've been to the emergency room and in and out of the hospital, and now it appears as though I might have multiple sclerosis. Next week I am scheduled to have a spinal tap procedure. I am so worried that I have this disease, and I don't know exactly what to pray for or how to react. You already know what is written in my future, therefore I don't know if it is proper to ask to not have this disease, or any other. But to be honest, I don't want to have multiple sclerosis or any other disease. I love to exercise, be engaged in activities, but these symptoms are weighing me down.
I am only a sophomore in college, and instead of focusing on my school work, what I am supposed to be doing with my life, and enjoying myself, I'll be worrying about my health.
Lord, please help me be strong. I always need you, you've always been there for me, but I feel as though I need you now more than ever. Thank you for providing me with supportive and loving family and friends, and healthcare so I can monitor my body. What I am most worried about is that these symptoms could occur as I'm walking to class. I really just want to live my life in college the way I am supposed to. Please pray for my well-being and health, everyone. I've never felt more lost, confused, alone, and hurt. I will cherish and value any positive energy sent in my direction. Thank you.
