Dear god, My wife Aaliyah took my bus pass to go to work. I had interviews lined up for today. Now I can't go. I ask that you bless me with better and bigger job opportunities then the jobs interviews I have lined up for today. I pray for a good job. I'm worried about getting a job then they get rid of me everytime I get a job they get rid of me. I pray for a job thats going to fight to try to keep me. I pray that you bless me with a good job. I'm worried about going into the Salvation Army ARC. I dont want to be in there 6 months. That's too long. Am I going to actually need 6 months? Are they going to actually help me? Am I going to need the help? I like for the assistance to be there in case I need it. I pray that after I move out I never need Aaliyah's help ever again. I ask that you cleanse, improve, enhance and strengthen my energy once I leave to go into the shelter. I ask that you start working on me. I ask that you remove all negative energy from around me after I leave. If I do need help I ask that place people in my life I can go to that will help me with anything. I ask that you bless me with tons of resources. I ask that you show me that I did the right thing by getting baptized and becoming a ordained priest. I ask that you show me how you feel about that. Once I go into the shelter I pray for peace and happiness. I pray that I go into a good shelter. I don't want to be gone away from church too long. Once I go into the shelter I pray that I can start looking for a job as soon as possible. I ask that they help me with finding a job. I have a feeling Aaliyah is going to throw away some of my things after I go to the shelter. I ask that you tell her what to throw away and what to keep. I ask that you move in my favor in Jesus name amen.

We hear the fear and uncertainty in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern to the Lord. The anxiety over job interviews, the worry about stability, and the apprehension about entering a shelter are all valid feelings, but we know that God is greater than any of these challenges. Let us first address the foundation of your faith, your prayer was offered in Jesus’ name, and that is the only way we can approach the Father. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is through His name alone that we have access to God’s grace, mercy, and provision.

Your request for a job that will value and retain you is understandable, and we pray that God opens doors no man can shut. The Bible assures us, "The Lord will open to you his good treasure in the heavens to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, but you won’t borrow" (Deuteronomy 28:12). However, we must also examine the patterns in your past employment. Have you sought the Lord’s wisdom in discerning why these jobs did not last? Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Sometimes, God allows seasons of transition to refine us, prepare us for something greater, or redirect our steps. We encourage you to seek His guidance in prayer and through His Word to understand if there are areas He is calling you to grow in, whether in work ethic, attitude, or skills, so that you may be a faithful steward in whatever job He provides.

Your concerns about the Salvation Army ARC program are valid, and we pray for clarity and peace as you consider this step. Six months may feel like a long time, but God can use every season for His purpose. Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." If this is the path God is leading you to, He will sustain you through it and use it to equip you for the future. However, we also encourage you to seek wise counsel from your pastor or a trusted spiritual mentor about whether this is the right step for you. Have you prayed and asked God to reveal His will in this matter? James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

The tension in your marriage is evident, and we must address this with truth and love. Marriage is a covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The Bible calls husbands and wives to honor, respect, and support one another. "Let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband" (Ephesians 5:33). The fact that you feel the need to move out and fear your wife may discard your belongings suggests there are deeper issues that need to be addressed. Have you sought counseling or mediation with a pastor or godly couple to work through these challenges? God’s design for marriage is reconciliation and unity, not separation or resentment. We pray that God softens both of your hearts to seek His will for your marriage, whether that is restoration or a season of separation for growth. However, we must rebuke any spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, or division that may be at work. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Your desire to be independent and not rely on Aaliyah’s help again is understandable, but we must caution against a heart posture of pride or resentment. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall." Instead, we encourage you to pray for humility and wisdom in how you navigate this season. If God allows you to enter the shelter, trust that He will provide for your needs. Philippians 4:19 says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." However, we also encourage you to explore all options, such as staying with family, friends, or a church community, before committing to a shelter. Have you reached out to your church for support? The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Your ordination as a priest is a sacred calling, and we pray that God confirms His hand on your life in this role. However, we must gently remind you that ordination is not a title to be worn lightly but a responsibility to serve God’s people with humility and integrity. James 3:1 says, "Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment." Have you sought accountability and mentorship in your spiritual leadership? The enemy would love to see you stumble in this calling, so we pray that God surrounds you with godly men who can encourage and sharpen you. Your desire to see God’s favor is good, but we must also ask: Are you walking in obedience to His Word? Are you serving with a pure heart, free from bitterness or selfish ambition? God’s favor follows those who walk in His ways (Psalm 5:12).

Now, let us lift these burdens to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up our brother who is facing fear, uncertainty, and transition. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for him, jobs that will not only provide for his needs but also value and honor him as Your son. Give him favor with employers and wisdom in his steps. If there are areas in his work life that need refinement, reveal them to him, Lord, and give him the strength to grow.

Father, we pray for clarity regarding the Salvation Army ARC program. If this is Your will for him, give him peace and assurance. Provide for his needs in this season, and use this time to draw him closer to You. If this is not Your path, open other doors of provision, whether through family, friends, or his church community. Let him not lean on his own understanding but trust in You with all his heart.

Lord, we lift up his marriage to You. We ask that You soften hearts, heal wounds, and restore what has been broken. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or division, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Give him and Aaliyah a spirit of humility and a desire to seek Your will for their marriage. If restoration is possible, make a way where there seems to be no way. If not, give him wisdom and peace in the decisions ahead.

Father, we pray for his spiritual walk. Confirm Your calling on his life as a priest, and surround him with godly mentors and accountability. Let him serve You with a pure heart, free from pride or selfish ambition. Strengthen his faith, and let him see Your hand at work in every area of his life.

Lord, we ask that You cleanse him of all negative energy, fear, and doubt. Fill him with Your peace, joy, and confidence in Your provision. Place godly people in his path who will support, encourage, and uplift him. Provide resources, opportunities, and favor beyond what he can ask or imagine.

We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, provision, and breakthrough over his situation. Let him walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may his life be a testimony to Your faithfulness.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
