The Last Enemy Destroyed
Christ destroys death as the final enemy, freeing believers from its power and fear.
A Door Opened in Heaven
Heaven’s door stands open for all who trust Christ, offering eternal fellowship with God.
A Most Needful Prayer Concerning the Holy Spirit
Pray earnestly that God’s Spirit remains with you, for without Him your faith and life wither away.
We hear your cry and we stand with you together before our Father in Jesus' mighty name, for we know the burden and torment you have carried under this fear and domination for so many years.

We want to encourage you first that the fear you feel is not from God, and the enemy wants you to believe that this principality is greater than the power of Christ in you. Scripture tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Tim 1:7. And we are reminded You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. The Jezebel influence spoken of in Scripture, in 1 Kings 21 and Rev 2:20, is marked by domination, manipulation, idolatry and sexual immorality, leading people away from truth, but our Lord Jesus has already disarmed the principalities and powers. Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it Col 2:15. No weapon formed against you can stand when you are hidden in Christ.

We also gently rebuke and correct the fear itself, for we are not to fear any spirit or principality, but to fear the Lord and to walk in the authority He has given us. Jesus said Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19. When we give place to fear, strange spiritual experiences, or to ungodly entanglements with women outside of God's design, we open doors to the enemy. Scripture says Don't give place to the devil Eph 4:27 and Flee sexual immorality 1 Cor 6:18. If there has been any fornication, which is sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman, or any soul ties, manipulation, pornography, or occult practices that have given this spirit a foothold, we urge you to confess and forsake it before the Lord, for He is faithful to cleanse and close those doors. We are to Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Deliverance is not by our strength but by submitting fully to God and actively resisting the enemy with the Word of God.

We also take comfort that God promises restoration of what the enemy has stolen. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. And the Lord says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isa 41:10. I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears Psalm 34:4.

So together we pray.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to You. We thank You that You see our brother and You know the torment and fear he has endured. We ask in Jesus' name that You break every chain of fear and every grip of this Jezebel influence over his life. We rebuke that spirit of domination, manipulation, intimidation and fear, and we command it to leave and to have no more place in his mind, body or spirit. Fill him now with Your spirit of power, love and self-control. Wash him in the blood of Jesus and close every door that has been opened through ungodly relationships or spiritual experiences. Forgive any sin and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Restore to him, Lord, in Your way and timing, all that has been stolen, his peace, his joy, his purpose and his strength. Teach him to put on the whole armor of God that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Eph 6:11, to stand firm in the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Cor 10:4. Let him know daily that he is Your child, for you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba, Father Rom 8:15. Keep him in perfect peace and let no harm overtake him as he abides in You. We ask that You lead him into fellowship with strong believing men and a sound biblical church where he can be discipled, held accountable, and strengthened in prayer and fasting and in the Word. We trust Your deliverance and Your timing, and we thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain daily in Scripture, to pray aloud the Word of God over your life, to fast as the Lord leads, and to walk in purity and obedience. Bring everything into the light with a trusted pastor or mature believer, for confession and accountability break the secrecy where this spirit thrives. Keep your eyes on Christ and not on the enemy, for He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it. Do not give up, for the Lord is your deliverer and your restorer.

We hear how exhausting these last five years have been for you, and how real the fear has felt. Wanting to be free from torment and to have what feels stolen restored is a deeply understandable cry, and we are grateful you brought it to us so honestly.

One thing that has helped others we walk with is learning that freedom often comes not through staying focused on the spirit you fear, but through turning more steadily toward Christ who is present with you. It is easy to give a lot of attention to naming and tracking spiritual opposition, and that attention itself can keep fear alive. At the same time we do not dismiss that spiritual struggle is real. Jesus' way of bringing deliverance is gentle and personal, He works as we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, often with others beside us, not alone.

A practical next step that may help is to invite one or two mature, trusted believers or a pastor you know to pray with you regularly in person, rather than carrying this fear privately. In that kind of safe, unhurried setting you can share what you have experienced, renounce what you need to leave behind, and ask Jesus to fill those places with His presence. Over time, simple daily rhythms of prayer, Scripture reading, and fellowship become like training that steadies the heart, more than a single dramatic moment.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we thank You that You see this dear child and know the weight of fear he has carried. We ask in Jesus' name for Your peace to guard his heart and mind, for wisdom for those who walk with him, and for Your gentle restoration in Your way and timing. Keep him close to You and remind him daily that he is safe in Your care. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and it is laid before the Lord with prayerful earnestness. That dread fear which has settled upon your soul like a vampire these five years, and perhaps longer, is well known to Him who sees the heart. You describe yourself as tormented and held as by a principality, contended with on every side, and afraid lest you go down to the Pit. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and even this sore chastening may be turned to your profit, for that which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand.

Hear then the word which meets your case, "Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom." Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom and it is the gift of Divine Love in His Son Jesus Christ. Your deliverance is not to be wrought by your own wrestling with dark powers, nor by strange spiritual experiences, but by Him who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it.

You must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. The lily beds of Scripture are full of this sweet flower, "Fear not." "Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord." "Fear not, I am with thee." This kind of fear has torment and needs casting out. To doubt the Eternal, to distrust the Omnipotent whose arm piled the heavens, is to forget that He has said He will never forsake them that fear Him. If you are at the mercy seat, God is there too, for He loves the mercy seat better than you do. He has not erased your name from His heart or His hands, nor yielded you up to your enemy's power.

Look then wholly to Christ. He has taught many to say, He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness, and He will certainly help in daily troubles. Did He give His own dear Son to put away sin, and will He not give you bread and water and strength for each hour of temptation. Turn away from every vain fascination and cast yourself upon Christ in whom your life is hidden, for since God has made you free in Him, you are free indeed.

We pray for you now that the Lord in His own way and time would be gracious unto you, that He would deliver you from going down to the Pit, that He would keep back your soul from perishing by the sword, that He would command your deliverance from all fear which torments you, and that by the precious ransom of the blood of Jesus you may be kept from all harm. May He restore to you what has been stolen in these years of contention, give you quietness of mind, soundness of faith, and such freedom from fear that you may say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. May He keep you hidden with Christ, give you peace within your borders, and cause you to know that greater is He that is in you than any power that contends against you. We ask this not because you have earned it, but because He has found a ransom, through Jesus Christ our only Savior and Lord, in whose mighty name we plead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your honest cry and we join with you in prayer before the Lord Jesus Christ. You have carried this torment for years, and especially in the last five years you have felt dominated and shaken by what you call the spirit of Jezebel, through women, strange spiritual experiences and a sense of being contended with and controlled. It is right and good that you have brought this fear into the light before God, for He hears those who call on Him and He delivers in His own way and timing.

Scripture shows us that even great servants of God knew this kind of fear. Elijah, a prophet of great courage, was afraid before Jezebel, as Moses was before the Egyptian and David before Bathsheba. Peter also, while his fear was still great, had courage to walk on the water toward Christ and overcame the greater wonder, yet he began to sink because of the lesser assault of the wind when his faith wavered. This teaches us that human nature can do great things and then be exposed in smaller things, and that it is not enough to be near Christ in name only, we must be near Him by living faith. Your fear does not mean you are abandoned. It shows how much we all need to be rooted deeply in Him.

Our calling is not to live in fear of any spirit or principality, but to be fixed in the fear of God and in love for Christ. When our soul cleaves to Him and thirsts for Him, when our flesh is fixed in His fear, we become like a tree with roots deep in the earth that no storm can easily shake, while a tree set lightly on the surface is torn up by a slight gust. Christ has already won the victory. When He was crucified, the prison was burst, the gates of brass were broken, and the keepers of hell cowered in fear. If we belong to Him through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who is our only salvation, no power of darkness can claim us. As love for Him grows intense, sin and fear are cast out, for perfect love casts out fear. God also does not always deliver at the first moment we ask, but teaches us to bear what comes manfully and to wait for Him. He came to His disciples in the fourth watch of the night, walking upon the sea, showing that He knows the right hour to bring deliverance. He has also given us a short and easy way of deliverance when we are willing to turn to Him with a whole heart, to forgive, to repent and to trust Him.

So we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to deliver our brother from all fear of Jezebel and from every torment, domination and strange oppression that has contended with him. Break every grip upon his life. Forgive his sins and cleanse him, and restore to him what has been stolen, in Your wisdom and Your timing. Fix his heart in Your fear and fill him with Your love, so that fear is driven out. Guard him, so that no power of darkness may harm him or have dominion over him. Make him steadfast, able to bear trials with patience and to wait for Your deliverance, trusting that You will come over the very waters that frighten him. Help him to stand against pride and anger and every torment of desire, and to walk in purity and faith, for You have made marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and called us to keep our bodies and lives pure within it. Keep him close to Christ by living faith, rooted and strengthened, that he may know Your peace and Your keeping power. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has conquered death and hell. Amen.
