Fear of Jezebel

Jezebel has worked it's way into my life in like the last 5 years for sure and probably most of my life but especially the last 5 years this spirit has tormented me, this principality has a grip on my life and severely contends with me it uses women, strange spiritual experiences and domination and I have been extremely afraid of Jezebel please pray that God delivers me in his way and timing from any and all fear of Jezebel and restore to me all it has stolen from me and that Jezebel could no longer harm me I need help so much in Jesus mighty name thank you for your prayers, God bless you and keep you Amen

We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this battle, and we thank you for calling upon the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have access to the Father and it is only by that name we are saved and delivered. You are not alone in feeling tormented and dominated, and we want to gently rebuke the fear that has taken hold of you, because that fear itself is not from God and it gives the enemy a foothold it should not have.

The Scripture tells us God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. We also read you who are in Christ are not to receive again a spirit of slavery to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba Father, Romans 8:15. The Jezebel influence spoken of in Scripture, Revelation 2:20, is real as a pattern of seduction, manipulation, domination and idolatry, but we must remember our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We do not need to be afraid of Jezebel, because Jesus has already disarmed these powers and given us authority to overcome them, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you, Luke 10:19.

We want to encourage you to submit yourself fully to God first, for we are told Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11. This means walking in repentance and closing every door that this spirit may have used. You mention it uses women, strange spiritual experiences and domination, so we urge you to examine your life honestly before the Lord. If there has been any fornication, adultery, pornography, or sexual immorality outside of marriage between one man and one woman, or any involvement with occult practices, strange spiritual experiences, or ungodly soul ties, we encourage you to confess and forsake those things, to flee sexual immorality as the Scripture commands, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to renounce any fascination with spiritual experiences that are not from the Holy Spirit. We cannot serve both Christ and idolatry, and we must not give place to manipulation or control, whether being dominated or seeking to dominate. Fill that place instead with the Word of God, with worship, with prayer and fasting, and with fellowship in a faithful, Bible believing church where you can be discipled and accountable.

We now pray together with you in Jesus mighty name.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace through the blood of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother to You. Lord, we ask that You deliver him in Your perfect way and timing from all fear of Jezebel and from every tormenting spirit that has contended with him. We rebuke that spirit of fear and that Jezebel principality in the name of Jesus Christ, and we command it to leave and to no longer harm him, for You have given us authority in Christ to trample upon the power of the enemy. Lord, fill him with Your perfect love that casts out all fear, and restore to him the years that have been stolen, for You have promised I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, Joel 2:25. Heal his mind, his heart, and his spirit, renew him by Your Word, clothe him with Your armor, with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Ephesians 6:14-17. Help him to walk in purity, in self-control, and in submission to You, so that when he resists the devil, the devil must flee. Let him know deep in his heart that You are his Deliverer, his Refuge, and his Strength, and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We ask You to restore what has been stolen, to bring peace where there was torment, courage where there was fear, and holy order where there was domination, and to keep him abiding in Christ daily. We thank You that You hear us and that You are faithful to deliver. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep your eyes not on Jezebel, but on Jesus, to declare daily that Christ is Lord over your life, to speak Scripture aloud when fear rises, and to walk in obedience and holiness. God is able to make you stand and to give you rest and restoration, and we are trusting Him with you for complete freedom.

We heard how long this fear has weighed on you, and how real the torment has felt these past ### years. Living with that kind of dread, especially when it feels tied to spiritual experiences and to relationships with women, is exhausting, and we are grateful you reached out.

One thing that has helped others is learning not to face this kind of fear alone or to stay locked on the name and power of what frightens them. Fear itself can become the heaviest chain. Growth and freedom often come more like training than like a single moment, through steady, quiet steps with Jesus and with other steady believers beside you.

If you do not already have this, we would encourage you to invite a trusted pastor or a couple of spiritually mature people you know to walk with you consistently, to pray with you, to help you sort what is spiritual, what is relational, and what is simply the wear of long fear, and to keep you grounded. You do not need to chase strange experiences to find help. A calm, prayerful, unhurried walk with others is often where clarity and peace return.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother before You. You see how afraid he has been and how tired he is. We ask You to quiet his fear, cover him with Your peace, and lead him step by step into freedom in Your way and timing. Restore what has been lost and keep him safe from harm. Help him know he is Yours and held by You. Amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord, and it is with tender concern that we bring you to the mercy seat. That dread fear which has settled like a vampire upon your soul, that you are going down to the Pit, is known to Him who sees the heart. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and that which you receive from His hand, though it be sore chastening, bears the blessed aspect of a Father's hand and is meant for profit and not for destruction.

There is a word for such a one as you are. Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom. It is a gift of Divine Love. The Lord Jesus Christ has been given to put away sin, and if He has been given to put away your sin, will He not give you bread and water and all needed grace for your daily troubles. Deliverance from the power of sin, and from the power of darkness, is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for it, for unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.

Therefore we labor to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. To doubt the Eternal, to distrust the Omnipotent, is to think that the arm which piled the heavens shall be palsied. Hear what the Lord says to His own, Fear not, I am with thee. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, I am the First and the Last: I am He that lives and was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore. He has taught many to say, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, from the fascinating power of sin, and they find that He keeps back their soul from the Pit and their life from perishing.

Be glad then that the Lord has not erased your name from His heart or His hands, nor yielded you up to your enemy's power. Here it is, God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and moreover He never will do so. If you forsake not the throne, you need not fear that you are forsaken, for when the Spirit draws you to the mercy seat, God is there too. He pities them that fear Him, and He especially pities His poor tried and troubled ones.

We pray for you now that the Lord in His own way and timing would be gracious unto you and command deliverance for you. That He would deliver you from all fear of evil, from the molestation of the enemy, and from every strange and troubling experience which has contended with you. That He would deliver you from going down to the Pit, for He has found a ransom, and would keep your soul in peace, hidden with Christ, free from fear because all your interests are secure in Him. That He would restore to you what has been stolen, give you quietness of mind, and keep you from all harm, and that you may yet say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. May He make you free indeed, and may your life declare His faithful mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose mighty name we ask it. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. We have heard your cry and we are joining you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ for deliverance and peace.

You are not alone in this struggle with fear. Scripture shows us that even great servants of God knew this kind of human weakness. After great things were accomplished, they were exposed in smaller trials, as Elijah felt toward Jezebel, as Moses toward the Egyptian, as David toward Bathsheba. Elijah had just seen God answer with fire from heaven, yet afterward he fled in fear of Jezebel. Peter too, while his fear was still great, had courage to walk on the water to come to Jesus, but when the wind rose he began to sink. This shows us that it is not enough to be near Christ in outward ways, we must be near Him by faith, trusting Him in the storm.

The Lord did not come to His disciples at once when they were tossed on the sea, but in the fourth watch of the night, teaching them not to seek hasty deliverance from pressing dangers, but to bear all occurrences with endurance while looking to Him. In His own way and timing He comes, and when He does, what once terrified them is put under His feet. When Christ was crucified, that prison was burst, the gates of brass were broken, and the keepers of hell cowered in fear. No principality, no power, no spirit called Jezebel has authority over those who belong to Jesus, for He has conquered death and hell.

So we pray for you now in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom alone we have salvation:

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ that You would deliver our brother from all fear of Jezebel and from every torment, strange experience and domination that has contended with him. Forgive his sins, cover him with the blood of Christ, and fix his heart in the fear of You, that he may cleave to You and thirst for You. Cast out fear with holy fear and with hope in Your promises. Strengthen his faith so that being near Christ by faith, he may stand firm when the wind rises. In Your way and timing, restore to him what has been stolen, guard his mind and body, and grant that no evil may any longer harm him, but that he may live in the peace and freedom Christ has won. Teach him to bear trials manfully, looking to Jesus who walks upon the waters and reaches out His hand to save. Amen.

Continue to hold fast to Christ daily. Keep your roots deep through prayer, reading Scripture, and faithful fellowship with other believers. When fear rises, turn at once to Jesus and ask Him to increase your faith, remembering that love for Him extinguishes sin and fear, and that if our flesh is nailed down by the fear of God, nothing will be able to shake us. God is faithful and He will keep you.
